Rachelle is a graduate of Winona State University and of Rochester Community and Technical College, with an Associate of Applied Science in the Dental Hygiene program. Rachelle is certified in Expanded Functions and CPR. At the office, Rachelle is our "go-getter", eager to learn and take on any challenge.
At each and every cleaning, our hygienists will perform a complete periodontal assessment to determine which type of cleaning will be best for your oral health. This could include a traditional cleaning or a gross debridement to remove heavy calculus resulting from many years without a dental cleaning.
As the prosthetic that most closely mimics nature's design, dental implants serve as substitute tooth roots. Each implant is strategically placed in the jaw where bone integrates with it to create a solid foundation for a crown, bridge, or denture. With proper care, dental implants can last a lifetime.
We offer digital radiographs (X-rays), which use less radiation and which are safer for you than traditional film-based X-rays. Radiographs are a necessary diagnostic tool in the field of dentistry. More than half of each tooth is hidden and surrounded by bone, and the only way to truly evaluate the health of your teeth and the bone surrounding your teeth is through these necessary, diagnostic radiographs.

Best dentist for families and children! My husband avoided the dentist for a while but now he goes every six months since we found Elgin Family Dentistry. My young sons started their dental care with EFD and I feel very comfortable with their advice and expertise as my boys' teeth grow and change! Great service all around!!

You can not ask for a better place to go. I have seen both of the Doctors, friendly and knowledgeable only begin to tell their story. I had seen Rachelle at another Dentist and was very disappointed when she left. I happened to go into Elgin Family Dentistry after a bad experience and was thrilled to find her there. I have never looked back. I got my wife to change and she loves them too.
