The Purple Door staff provides consistently above par salon services. The environment is professional, yet inviting and teeming with attentiveness I've never had an occasion of leaving unsatisfied in 10 plus years. I've been coming to Todd since 2005. Initially, I was just looking for a stylist to do my hair for my wedding, but I soon became a regular customer.

I went here twice a couple of years ago, and the guy that did my hair was excellent. I wish I could remember his name, but it's been a while, and he actually left. Anyway, they did an excellent, camera-ready job, and it is a pretty pricey, lavish salon.
The only reason they didn't get 5 stars is because the people there seem quite stuck up. If you call and ask a question they act like you're bothering them. I guess they are celebrity types...

I became acquainted with the Purple Door salon, and the owner, Mr. Dwight Eubanks, through soliciting funds from businesses in the community for the Twenty-fifth Anniversary of my pastor, Dr. Michael N. Harris, at Wheat Street Baptist Church I went to the salon to meet Mr. Eubanks, who was not there the first time I went, but I was so impressed with the staff and the ambience, I decided to make an appointment and return to meet Mr. Eubanks. The second time I went Mr. Eubanks was there and I told him my purpose for coming was two-fold and made an appointment to come back to get my hair styled

Recently visited the salon for the first time, appt for 11:00 on Friday.....referred by regular clients.
Salon is beautiful, stylists dressed to the nines, no communication, no beverages, magazines or comforts to address the 3 hour wait for hair to be washed, styled and trimmed.....having visited several professional establishments where the client is catered to, communicated with and made to feel comfortable...they missed the mark.

BAIT and SWITCH SCAM
If you want a luxury experience don't go here!
If your time is valuable and don't want to spend all day in a salon don't go here!
If you want service from a honest, up front, professional stylist DO NOT GO here!
Short story...
I just spent four hours( for the first two hours i was the only client in the salon) to get my hair to get shampooed, dried and flat ironed for $75.00 when it was suppose to be $35.00. Then I was insulted by the stylist. Who went on to tell me that he drives an Infiniti and has diamond rings so when he goes to buy a Burberry

I really wish I could give them a better review, but I just can't. Let's examine this place from the beginning to end..good vs. bad..
Since I'm still kind of new to the Atlanta area I decided to look online to find a salon that could style natural hair..that was the first mistake...when it comes to hair, only go by referrals from people you've seen with nice, healthy hair. BUT I was desperate and on a time crunch so I surfed the web for advice. When I first checked out the Purple Door's website I was a little confused. It seemed very high-fashion modeling geared, when
