Sonoita is located at the crossroads of US Highways 82 and 83 Southeast of Tucson, Arizona. We are surrounded by rolling, grass-covered hills and enjoy wonderful blue skies and wide-open spaces. Many people say this area "looks like Montana". Sonoita is a wonderful rural area that provides a quiet and safe lifestyle for visitors and residents alike.
Patagonia Lake is a beautiful lake nestled in the hills near Nogales, south of Tucson and is the centerpiece of Patagonia Lake State Park. The lake spans over 250 acres and is 2-1/2 miles long. The lake was created by damming Sonoita Creek. Today, the Arizona State Parks maintains a facility at Lake Patagonia.
Vail is located in Pima County, Arizona just Southeast of the nearby City of Tucson. The population is about 11,000 and the area comprises 18.2 square miles. The area is known for the nearby Colossal Cave, a large cave system, and the Rincon Mountains District of Saguaro National Park, a top tourism spot within Arizona.

Kathy O'Brien from Sonoita Realty was referred to us by our agent in the Phoenix Metro area. We were on a hunt for some land in the area and Kathy's knowledge and expertise of the area was incredibly valuable. Kathy always took time out of her day to help to accommodate our challenging schedule due to the time it would take us to drive that far south.
