Most of the people that work here are nice and welcoming, buttttt.... It is SO overpriced for what you get. I went from blonde to brown and wanted dimension with natalie, I didn't get what I wanted and still had to pay $420!!!!! There is no dimension at all my hair is just one flat color. I could have done this myself. $420 is insane. She also didn't even talk to me the whole appointment. I feel so scammed. I'm 18 I don't have that kind of money. Will never be coming back :((

I do not recommend this salon. I got my hair balayage here and it turned out orange and streaky after being there for almost 4 hours. Their promise at the salon is if you don't like your hair they will fix it, but they were about to make me pay $230 more for another person to fix my balayage after I already paid $250 for a horrible job.

I called a few weeks ago to get an appointment for the first time at this salon, needing both a cut and color and within a short timeframe. Byron, at the front desk, made what I thought was impossible, possible. Austin honestly gave me the best color of my life and Aili gave me the perfect updated cut for my curly hair. I couldn't be happier with both stylists and my overall experience.

SIMPLY THE BEST !!! I was told that I needed to go to Mirror Mirror by my daughter who has gone here for many years, if she says it's the best you bet it's the best....I saw Alex for a cut and highlights and was amazed at how finally I got the color and haircut that I have been searching for in Austin.... I booked my next appointment before I left, thank you so much Alex ...also the staff from the front desk girl to the manager were lovely and the atmosphere is perfect....if I could give more stars I would !!!

I'm so happy I found Carah! I was referred to Mirror Mirror by a friend. I have lived in Austin for 3.5 years now and still didn't have a hairstylist I liked. All I needed was a haircut, so it was easy to make an appointment because they won't do ant color or highlight appointments without seeing you first. There was a last second cancellation so I was able to get into Carah for a trim before my vacation. She did an amazing job, and listened to what I wanted. I also wanted some layers to frame my face, and I am so happy with the results.

I was so excited to try this shop for my first post-pandemic haircut. Unfortunately, it did not live up to my expectations. First, although I showed up on time, I was not seen until 25 minutes after my appointment. I understand having to wait at a walk-in establishment; being that late for an appointment I booked two weeks in advance did not make me feel like anyone respected my time. Nobody even apologized for the wait. In addition, 9 days post-haircut, it's clear that my stylist did not cut my hair correctly. I have short hair; the left side of the back of my neck is already starting to curl

Well I was dumb enough to go back to Mirror Mirror to another stylist for a cut. And I'm now editing my review to add a second bad experience. I cut off about 4-5 inches and asked for layers and she hacked my hair. I'm not sure if she was having a bad day or just isn't trained in cutting proper layers.
I will never go back to this salon. I have now had two

Today Chelsea worked magic on my poorly self dyed hair, and i could not be happier! she absolutely killed it. i could cry i am so happy with the results, i thought my hair was done for, and she brought it back to my EXACT natural color. these girls are so talented and the studio is so cute. i'm so so pleased with how this all went. if i could give it 10 stars i would!

Finally got my hair cut after a year and wanted to try a new place. Mirror Mirror is taking a lot of Covid precautions which is great! That's one of the reasons I decided to try them out. The only thing that was frustrating was their text message bot. You had to text when you arrive and they would text you when to come in. I felt like l was texting this bot for 10 min just to say I was here because it kept wanting to schedule a new appointment.
BUT besides that, Natalie did my hair cut and she had a special where I got a free treatment! My hair needed some TLC and she did such an AMAZING

I got Habitat Hand Tied Extensions installed by Brynn Reed and OMG I feel like Beyonce. My hair is gorgeous! Brynn is such a pro, too. She got straight to work, and was done installing them before I knew it. I was surprised when she said it was time for color! She matched the extensions perfectly, and I could not be happier. There was barely any tenderness that evening, and that went away with a couple of Advil. So far, the extensions are pain-free and perfect. I love them!
