Panache Hair Design is located in Center City Philadelphia at the corner of 20th Street and JFK Boulevard. Clients are warmly welcomed in a stylish and spacious salon. For your comfort and peace of mind, scheduled appointments are now allotted more time, and furniture has been spaced further apart in the salon.
We have also installed dividing screens in the shampoo area, as well as humidifiers and a hepa air purifier that cleans the air every half hour. Services are provided in an area flooded with natural light and private rooms are available as well. We are committed to providing the highest level of service and best experience for all.

John is amazing! He has been styling my hair for over 40 years. He always knows the best cut for whatever condition my hair is in at the time. He will discuss your options before cutting and is very honest with what will work and what won't. Sometimes l tell him to do whatever he wants and it always turns out great. There is no haircut like a John Toner haircut!

Terrible experience. The stylist clearly was not familiar with my hair texture. Despite my careful explanation, the stylist cut my hair in the exact opposite of my request, and was not receptive when I expressed concern.
While I arrived promptly, I had to wait longer than expected. Furthermore, only at my request, did the stylist take the step to inspect my hair and prior to washing. Given my hair texture, this step is critical and should have been automatic.

I had an okay experience at this location. Tia gave me a press and curl which came out nice but only lasted for about a day. This is pretty rare because my hair can stay straight up to two weeks even when I do it myself. I was kind of shocked that I almost got charged extra for my type of hair(4a/b bra strap length hair) because this usually isn't the case for me since I don't necessarily think I have that much hair. It was an ok and it's was a very quick experience but I didn't have above average results.

Amazing. I went in with hair looking like a birds nest and Attia took me in hand, gave me the straight scoop on how to care for my hair, and gave me an amazing relaxer touchup and style. She suggested a conditioning treatment that I will now make sure to get with each chemical service, because it was amazing. She is also personable, professional and lovely to talk to. I've found my new stylist and my new hair home!

Visited twice in recent weeks for both myself and my daughter. Cosy local hairdresser that could do with a little redecoration but actually the hairdressing is very good. A lovely trim for myself by one stylist and a great short cut restyle for my daughter. Reasonably priced and the young stylists are very good.

If I could leave 0 stars then I most certainly would. I made an appointment two days in advance. I was urged more than once to please inform them if I couldn't keep my appointment. I rang up to say I'd be a few minutes late out of common curtesy. Arrived and the person who was supposed to be doing my hair had not yet turned up. She was called on the phone and I was then told she had forgotten about my appointment. Obviously my time or custom was not important. Tyisha is the best! I love, love, love my crochet braids! I've gotten a ton of complements on them already and my sister and friend have already made appointments for theirs! This is the second time I've had her do my crochet braids and I thought I loved the first set but apparently they get better everytime! The first ones also lasted me for over a month and people were still complementing and asking me where I got them done on the day I was having them taken out!

I can't believe my hair! I needed to find a new saloon in the city after having my hair done from the same person for 20 years. I was nervous.
I was amazed at the work Tiffany did - it turned out amazing. I never received so many compliments.
I have fine blonde hair, had foil highlights done and an amazing cut. I looked like a new person with super thick hair. I was so impressed, I will recommended her to anyone, and I will be back for sure!

Panache is the best salon I've ever been to, hands down. I went to Attia for about three years before graduating from law school and now that I've moved away from Philly, I feel bereft. The skill and professionalism exhibited at Panache has no equal. I've been relaxing my hair for almost two decades now and what should be dry, brittle, over-processed hair looks healthy, shiny, and luscious thanks to Attia's magical hands and skill. I have to say that I was pretty optimistic about my first experience at Panache a little over a week ago. I know a few people who are clients so I trusted that it would likely be a good experience and hopefully a place that I could return to.
Unfortunately, my balloon was quickly deflated. Never mind, that I had to wait 20 minutes for my stylist to work on another client: that's generally something I've come to expect sometimes. But the part i really have the issue with is the consultation and the disconnection from what I thought I was asking to the end result. I (at LEAST once) recall
