Our stylists tailor each color appointment to you, prescribing what's needed to maintain healthy, beautiful and long lasting hair color. If extra product is needed, the extra product charge will be added to your service(s) cost at checkout. When you book your reservation, we require your credit card information to reserve your appointment.
Our expert team of artists is committed to making your day effortless while creating a look that is unique to your individual style. Our professional coordinators take every detail into account to help you organize your bridal hair and makeup itinerary and are happy to travel to you* or provide services in salon.

My first visit was w Tatiana who did a great job and did not pressure me to add on more costs & services and I was very happy with the whole experience. My recent visit w Kate felt pressured to add on additional services and follow-up appts at multiple times through the visit, and misled me about the service I did opt to add on. A simple hair trim (which cost $30-60 -depending on if wash/dry was added -at comparable high end salons, literally just a straight across trim of the ends) was $95 & not disclosed to me until after I paid. Love this place! I always feel heard and like they really want to make sure I’m happy. I recently moved to Philly and finding a hair salon can be scary, but this was my second time to the salon and I made a big decision to chop off my long hair. I felt totally comfortable with Kate and knew I could put my total trust in her.
The prices are outlined on the website when you book an appointment and I think it’s well worth it for the professional tools and products they use. My hair feels brand new and I couldn’t be happier!

I did a ton of research on salons before choosing pHd, and I am certainly not disappointed. The salon was super cute and my stylist, Tatiana, was fabulous!!! I had planned to go in just for a haircut, but Tatiana suggested an opportunity for me to fix the brassiness in my hair after I mentioned im just trying to cut the color out. The glaze in addition to my haircut was great and i love the color now!! I thought prices were on par for the city and will definitely be returning!

Great quality service as well as timely. My highlights turned out exactly how I wanted. However, I was very disappointed to find out at the end of my appointment that I needed to pay to have my hair blow-dried. I figured it would just cost an extra $10 or so and I wanted to see how my highlights turned out. I didn't realize until after my appointment that the basic blowdry with a round brush (no styling) was called a "PHD Signature Blowout" and I was charged $67.00. I have never been charged that in an expensive salon in NYC so I was very disappointed that it was not communicated beforehand.

Lauren was amazing. After only utilizing one barber for the last 25 years I entrusted my hair to Lauren. She took on my pandemic hair which was the longest I have had my hair in about 16 years. Her opinions and suggestions were great. She made me look spectacular. Lauren was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Cannot wait to go back as it has been almost 2 months since she first cut my hair and I am definitely in need of another cut. I drive all the way from Bucks Co. to pHd Salon...SO WORTH THE TRIP! Serene, spa-like atmosphere. Kate is a gifted artist with color and cut (and she also does hair extensions.) Staff is caring, attentive and personable (and the washout chairs are sooo comfy!) They use top-of-the line products and coloring, and my hair has never, ever looked better. So many complements from friends/family/strangers! Cannot recommend pHd enough. Go!!
