Services
All color prices start at listed price and depend on the length of hair. Your stylist will consult with you first to agree on a service and price. Matching an existing shade. Must have 1/2 of new growth or less. No bleach. A single shade applied all over, may not apply for lightening. Applied at the shampoo bowl.

Got the haircut of my dreams from Rafael at the South Congress location! I came in with a reference photo of a thirties film star, and Rafael was so great- he knew how to take the idea of what I wanted and make it work with my hair so it would look good, he consulted with me but wasn't afraid to share his expert opinion, and he gave my both the "quick n easy" styling tips as well as a quick tutorial on how to get the perfect S wave that even Carole Lombard would envy. I've had over 4 "hairdressers" and every single one has treated me with sweetness and grace. My only gripe is that most of them transfer to different locations so I always have to switch my stylist. However, the entire process is always seamless.......I imagine an Aggie with a crew cut showing up at Birds and they would still feel comfortable here (I'm born and raised in College Station). This place is incredible and I trust the staff so much!

What a lovely experience! I booked an appt online the day before and was treated to a great shampoo, cut and rough dry. A "rough dry" is not bad at all! They still put a little product in your hair and it looked good! They have reasonable prices and get you in and out quickly! Very nice folks! My hair looks really nice!

What started the hunt for a good place for a cut came from a previous cut, the worst of my life, from another unnamed shop in town (unnamed but in my Yelp reviews if curious lol) My first cut here was with Nancy and she did the best she could with the carnage from the previous cut. It wasn't until I let that cut grow out a bit to give here some ground to work with did I see what an amazing talent she has. The fade precisely what I wanted, great banter and an open and friendly shop. My hair search is now over, I found my shop, I found who will now be cutting my hair.

I really wish that I could give this a five star. I've gone to other birds barbershops and I've had great haircuts. However this time my experience was less than optimal. First off my Barbor didn't take time to really know the type of haircut that I wanted. Then she asked if I was OK with clippers. With this maybe I'm just out of the loop but I thought clippers meant scissors and and when I said yes she immediately took a razor out and cut a very deep into my hair. I did not come here to get a short haircut. I tried to tell her that is not what I wanted but it was too late.

I went here last week to get a barber cut and I was very surprised that even though it's in their name. It's not a barber shop and they don't perform these types of cuts. I did ask when I arrived if my barber does a barber cut and I was told no. She's a stylist/artist it can perform fades. So I chose to proceed and when I sat down and told her what I wanted she told me she can only go finger length on top. I am disappointed but don't let this shop fool u. They are not barbers. Live and learn but for $32 I would hope they can do what I asked for

Just moved here from california, and was really nervous to trust someone new with my hair. Booked online and headed in. Im so glad i came here because i got the best haircut ive gotten in YEARS from Joshua. Besides excellent technique he was also really awesome to talk to and made my haircut more enjoyable. Look, I understand it's difficult to get in for a last minute haircut on a weekend in Austin, TX, especially at a nice barbershop like Birds. So I did the sensible thing and called ahead to see if I could walk in. I was told that there is no way to know the exact wait time but that I could come in. When I walked in the door, I let them know that I didn't have an appointment and I'd like to get on the list for a haircut. I was informed that several employees weren't able to make it in and they were short staffed. I was asked if I could come back this afternoon or tomorrow. I

Standard Austin Bird's haircut chain. I wouldn't not call this a barber shop in the traditional sense where one can go for an authentic barber experience. You are welcome with an option of beers and cold brew coffee which helps as the wait is usually 45min+ even when coming not at peak hours. I've always been satisfied with the low fade and classic styling that I am always looking for but at the price point, I receive the same cut from "lesser" barbers.

So why do I keep coming back to a place to which I'm giving only two stars? Because of Monse. Otherwise, it's just pure frustration as you can't make an appointment any earlier than same day.
I can't think of a legitimate reason why Bird's only offers same day bookings. Popular stylists like Monse book up as soon as the reservation system for the day opens up. It's like trying to get tickets to a Beyonc

Been using Bird&Co for the last few years now and in my experience of “getting your hair cut” this is the best I’ve come across. Great team with a high level of work, booking system makes it so easy to go in and relax knowing you haven’t got to wait hours for a cue. Best barbers in the West Midlands for me!

I'd been going to salons for years for highlights and cuts that were pricey and time-consuming: ($$$, 3+ hours). After seeing that a number of coworkers had switched to Birds and were happy with their results, I decided to give it a try.

I like birds barbershop. I like the fact that they will offer you a beer while you wait. The Barber's are friendly and efficient. My haircut was $20. It's in my neighborhood and there seems to be plenty of parking on the side street or in the back. I'll be returning there for my next haircut I'm sure.
