Here at Ellerbe Road Animal Hospital, we always welcome new clients and patients to our full service veterinary practice in Shreveport, Louisiana. We know you will be very happy with our services. Our veterinarians and staff are devoted to staying on top of the latest diagnostics, treatments, and wellness programs to maintain your pet's optimal health.
As a new client of Ellerbe Road Animal Hospital, you can expect our full attention to your pets' needs. When you arrive for your appointment, you will be greeted warmly, and we'll usher you into an examination room after checking in your pet. In most cases, one of our veterinary technicians will start by asking about your pet's medical history, current condition and the reason for your visit, gathering data for the doctor.
Laser therapy is the "drug free, surgery free, sedation free" new adjunct to pain management for your pet. It can be used in place of or in addition to regular. If travel, thunder, or fireworks upset your pet, he or she may benefit from tranquilization or sedation. While sedated, the animal will stay awake or sleep lightly but can be.

Hospital are so sweet and kind. They have terrific expertise and don’t charge exorbitant prices to care for your pet. My mother recently had to put one of her dogs down and they treated her so well. It made a heart-wrenching experience so much easier to deal with.
