Great vibes, food is okay. i really like the appetizers but the rest of their dishes are kind of bland. its definitely not authentic, and more americanized. the sushi is an absolute no. i wouldn't even call it sushi. the best thing about this place is the huge portions! this is a great place for after prom, graduation, birthdays etc. but i would not go here on a date or when i'm trying to eat really amazing food. this is a good crowd pleaser with a great atmosphere.

Wow! This restaurant has almost 5 stars. It is so bad! When we went, their dishwasher was broken. The place seemed dirty. Food quality was terrible. People in NC do not know good food, it's really sad! I hope a few good restaurants open here! We need good food and unfortunately this place is bad

Super long wait, but we were able to take a nap in the car and get a text message when our table was ready. Food and atmosphere was fine, if I went back I would want to find a not so busy time.

Love this place, worthy of a 5* in all aspects.... Only thing I would change is how sweet the yum yum chicken is, way to sweet, no sweet/sour aspect, would be better served as/ over a bed of rice.... Overall 9/10 would recommend this place!!!!!

The wait was 2 hours, but, boy was it ever worth it! What a beautiful place filled with beautiful food! My son had grilled salmon worth this fantastic dipping sauce, salty, soy-based, maybe with some ginger? We had that happy family with scallops, shrimp, steak and chicken. Excellent flavors!

My family and I have been eating at Indochine for years, unfortunately due to my last experience we will no longer support this business. Three of us went and were told there was a 35-40 minute wait, which we were fine with. Later 3 people walk in and were seated immediately. So I ask why was that table not offered to us ? The Employees responded I don't know. Then proceeded to tell us that they didn't allow weapons inside, and how could he help us. There are no markings on this business stating no firearms. One of my besties and I wanted to go out for a delicious filling meal. She is vegan so the options in town are not super plentiful. Luckily for us, Indochine is able to adapt a number of their menu items to be vegan while not sacrificing any of the flavor! I had the very non-vegan Pad See Ew with shrimp. This dish is so filling and full of flavor without being overwhelmed with any heavy sauces. When you order shrimp to be added to it they are not stingy on the amount either- there were so many shrimp! My friend's dish, Bun Tau Xau Rau, was made perfectly as well as a vegan entree for her.

I definitely had better Tom Yum soup . This is not good.....pad Thai is tasteless, I can't eat it without the peanuts sauce. But our waitress , she is great. One of the best waitress I have ever had. Very professional.

Dropped in for dinner on Christmas Day while visiting family in the area. As you can imagine the wait times for both dine-in & carry out were averaging two hours. With only a few other fast food options available, we choose to order to-go and pick up the order. Beef & Asian veggies entree, peeper steak, & two sushi rolls are what our order consisted of, and it was all fresh and delicious! Unfortunately, I've no pictures but still wanted to leave this review! I will return again on a normal business day!! Thank you to all of the staff!

BEST Thai restaurant I've ever been to, including in Philly and LA. The yellow curry was delicious, had complex flavors. The pad thai was ok. The decor was absolutely beautiful. And the servers were top notch. Could equally be great for family for a romantic date.

Very unique interior decor. I was surprised by how expensive the entrees were but then realized that the portion was huge. Food tasted oaky. Service was super slow. Our waitress was clearly overwhelmed and she messed up my order.

We came to Indochine to celebrate our anniversary. We LOVED it. It was a Saturday at 6ish when we arrived and there was an hour wait. They don’t have reservations or call ahead. Since we were without the kids it didn’t really bother us. Food was excellent and so were the drinks. So happy with our experience. Cant wait to go back!

First off, the display of the restaurant is stunning. I haven’t seen any other place look like this. It’s like a small village. Very unique. We hoped that the looks of the place is just as good as the food! && YUP, the food was delicious!!!! I would give this place a 10 star if I could.
The curry was my favorite and the sample appetizers.
The wait time was expected. Waited about 45min-1hour on a Saturday night.
But the food came out pretty fast for having 8 person table.
I would recommend this place to my friends and family for sure!

Soup was a good & filling starter! Papaya salad was a beauty with an orchid floating atop. The Pad Ki Mao had a variety of vegetables & wide noodles with tender chicken & shrimp making for a special dinner!

Made a call ahead seating for 6:30 didn’t get seated till 7:30 for a party of 9 ordered are food immediately… waited till 8:30 still no food asked for plates to serve birthday cake waiter came back said manager said there will be a $10 fee for bringing are own cake still no food asked to talk with manager 30 minutes later at 9:00 he came over told that he thought everything was going great that he didn’t see anything wrong with us not having are food yet while people that came in after us got there’s told me that he didn’t care that I thought it was bad business finally

My lunch was perfection! The chicken larb salad was one of the best I have ever had. I think it is tied for first place in town (with Umaii). Their homemade hot sauce just goes so well on top. The vegetable spring roll with it was also absolutely perfect. I don't eat friend foods so I made sure to get the grease out as much as possible (which wasn't that much) and every bite was delicious. Of course the decor and service were amazing, too. Not to mention, the $8.95 lunch prices!! So cheap!! Bryan and Julia are wonderful assets to this team!

Love this place we have been going to this place since we moved to Wilmington. That's has been over 30 years now.
They have the best food ever.
Great atmosphere, great service, great bunch of people ever.
We order take out and enjoy it at home and chill out in our backyard, watch the traffic go by and enjoy our fur kids

Beautiful ambience and authentic Thai and Vietnamese dishes keep Indochine one of my all-time favorite… restaurants in Wilmington for over 20 years❣️ The lunch menu is the best deal in town, complete with linen napkins an excellent service.

Pretty good Asian restaurant if you're looking for a place in North Carolina! Not the most authentic or traditional place I've been, but can definitely get the craving done.

They have everything from Vietnamese to Japanese to Chinese to Thai. However, you shouldn't just go there for the food, go there for their decor and aesthetic! Their decorations in there are sooo gorgeous. Really random, but definitely the best bathroom I've ever seen at a restaurant.

We found this place because it was recommended by several people in our travel group. I'm so glad it was, the outside looks almost sketchy but walking in its like walking through a magic door way. The place is absolutely gorgeous, the staff is friendly, the food is wonderful, and the portions are enormous! We will now be among those recommending Indochine to anyone coming to Wilmington!
P.s. It's be a beautiful place for an engagement party or rehearsal dinner. Which we are definitely thinking about now!

Came here for dinner during our day trip to Wrightsville Beach/Wilmington. When we called at around 6:30pm on a Sunday, they said there would be a 1 hr wait which we were fine with.

After putting my name down on the list, we decided to walk in their outdoor garden area. When I first walked out of those doors, my jaws dropped. This is probably the first time I have seen an outdoor dining area so elaborate. It felt like I was transported to Southeast Asia when I laid my eyes on the architecture, the statues of Buddha, Bamboo garden, and a Koi pond.

What a wonderful experience!! The atmosphere and decor is amazing here with the beautiful gardens! And the food does not disappoint!! Our appetizers were delicious and our entrees were as well. The food was made to order and served piping hot. We cannot wait to go back and try something new!!

This is certainly an unpopular opinion, but I find this place to be extremely overrated.

Indochine is a long-running staple in Wilmington; they are slammed every single night, even in the middle of the week (I visited on a Wednesday, and the wait was 45 minutes). Despite this, they don't take reservations, so you just have to show up and hope the wait isn't inordinately long.

After the 45 minute wait, our party of 3 was seated outside next to a gorgeous koi pond. It was hot and muggy out, and we all got quite a few mosquito bites, but the vibe was immaculate.

This is one of the prettiest restaurants I've been to. From the outside it doesn't look like much, but there is an amazing outdoor garden that makes you feel like you are in another country! Outdoor seating was closed but we were able to look around the gardens while we waited for our food. It was beautiful. They have a koi pond and so many plants and trees.

Not only is the place pretty but the food is really good too! The lunch specials were great. For $9 you get pretty big portions. I was able to split the lemongrass pork with my sister and it was so good. The pork had so much flavor
