Quickfix- Semi-permanent color no ammonia or peroxide, dark and medium shades available only. Consult with your Artist for more complex creations. Starting at $25. Scheduling an appointment is easy to do with the owner Patti. She answers the phone but may be busy doing someone's hair at the time. So the appointment was agreed upon via text message.
Hair Styling: I like that when Patti did my hair she was doing my hair only. There should be a consultation for the hair to come to an agreement for style and to understand what does or doesn't work. HUGE attitude the entire visit. I was referred by a friend, and all I got was ignored, ushered around “move here” - then silence when checking out. Huge mean girl situation going on. Maybe 3 words spoken to me over 2 hours. Don’t. Nobody deserves a day in high school getting their hair done as an adult, on vacation.

I LOVE Duke’s Hair Studio!!! I have been having my hair styled by Patti, the owner for over 5 years!!! I will just say, finding a stylist that is punctual and aims to please is hard to come by. My experience at Dukes Hair Studio, with Patti has been nothing but that!! I recently started coming to the Dukes Salon for my extensions and wanting to try something new with color and I was very pleased with the outcome. She made sure my color and extensions popped!! I received nothing but compliments.
Patti's laid back and positive energy is enough for anyone to just want to visit on a day that you are down. She takes care of my hair and makes sure I am READY for whatever this world is ready to throw

Patti has been apart of my hair journey for over 10 years! We’ve done relaxers, cuts, color and most recently natural silk presses. Through all phases she’s kept my hair healthy. She’s always very professional and accommodating. Her salon is super chic and cozy. There’s always positive vibes and energy at the salon. I believe the positive reviews are fake. The other reviews mimic my experience almost to the T. No parking, bad customer service, they couldn't care less about you, your hair or if you'll return...just your wallet. I came in for a color change, Patty, the owner suggested she add some dimensions instead, I agreed. She was supposed to do it but instead she said she was going to have someone get me started. She has someone bleach my hair to the point where it completely fried it. (See pics on Yelp) After realizing my hair was fried I told Patty I didn't want to go any further because enough damage

Absolutely the WORST hair salon I've ever been too. I was charged $ 150 for a press and trim that was done subpar. The owner, Patti, is the one that did my hair. She also spent the entire time insulting my hair..telling me that she has done a better job on other people hair because I didn't have "good hair". I'am a natural 4C with bra strap length hair so what are you even talking about. I will never go back EVER in life! Everyone in the salon gossips and try to defend hairstyles that are subpar. Beware!!

I was debating on if I should write a review or not; but I am b/c people should know what they are getting themselves into. A very close friend of mine referred me to Patti because my regular stylist was in the hospital. I made an appt w/ Patti and confirmed my appt. w/ Patti. As soon as I get there she tells me that someone else is going to do my hair and that she has something to do.... I thought to myself this is bad customer service b/c had she initiated the call to let me know i could have avoided sitting in 5:00 pm traffic heading to South Dallas. Normally hair salons offer water or maybe wine if they're fancy but Duke's offered me a glass of Apple Crown Royal. Let me tell you - my face lit up with excitement. Now that's what I'm talking about!

If I make an appointment for 7, I expect my appointment to start at 7 and I receive service the entire time. Don't stash me under the dryer for an unnecessary

Two years later, I am updating my review to still deem this establishment fabulous! The space is still as upscale and chic as I remember. Coffee bar, mimosas on the weekends and swanky decor throughout. This time I've been working with the sweet owner, Patti Duke, for all of my hair needs. I contacted her recently for my bridal consultation. During our friendly chit chat, I asked her if she had local celebrity clients. Her response "All my clients are celebrities!" That's the type of treatment you get here.

I read Yelp reviews and decided to give Duke's a try. I've been in the North Texas area for almost 6 years and haven't found a consistent hair stylist yet. So when I saw Patty's reviews I was excited and thought I'd found someone but unfortunately I'm still on my quest. Patty is very sweet! Like most people on here say she is sugar sweet. This studio is wonderful! I just moved to Dallas from NY and I was in desperate need to find a hairdresser. When I first got in town, I tried a stylist who didn't do a good job with my weave and I was so disappointed... I am so glad that I found Patti, she is simply the best! It is hard to work behind another stylists work, (especially if it is a bad job) but Patti made a miracle happen the day I arrived in her salon. She is very knowledgable about working with my natural hair and weave. . . I tell you when I left the salon my hair was flawless, curls for days.

I moved to Dallas from Los Angeles and thought I was doomed to have to commute back to LA to get my hair looking the way I wanted to after a horrible color job at another local Dallas salon. I asked for light brown and turned out a cartoony bright red, which is one of the toughest colors to correct. Patti is awesome! She custom colored and installed my virgin hair and the finished product was amazing. I dropped my hair off with Patti a few days prior to my appointment to get it colored. I showed her a picture and she was able to duplicate the color look I was going for immaculately. During my install, I appreciated the fact that Patti was very informative about hair care and extension care tips. It showed me that she cares alot about keeping your natural hair healthy.
You will NOT have to spend the whole day at this salon

With my recent move to Dallas, I have been in search of a fabulous stylist who could do an amazing installation. A hair weave installation that is! Boy, was I in luck to find out my old college friend had just started at one of Dallas's hottest salons. I wasted no time booking my appointment with Will Ross for an early Saturday morning appointment. Now, when most of us make a Saturday hair appointment you usually plan on being there all day. Not at Dukes! I find myself wanting Will to go slower so that I can stay at the salon longer because of the positive energy in the salon.
