My intention is to hold safe space for you to show up authentically, and to help guide you back to wholeness. I am a wholistic and humanistic therapist who works with your mind-body connection to activate your biochemistry of healing, and to rewire your brain for success. Our work includes the social and ecological environments in which you live.
I work with individuals and groups, addressing a variety of issues including stress, trauma, habit control, addictions, fears and phobias, life transitions, body image, effects of bullying and peer rejection, depression and anxiety. The approaches I use include compassionate listening, body-oriented work, cognitive behavioral therapy, hypnosis, guided imagery, psychodrama, Gestalt, transactional analysis, and family systems.

Cindy Levy is a psychotherapist, hypnotist, trainer, speaker, and naturalist. Her work focuses on expanding our sense of self in the outer world (earth, ecosystems) and inner world (psyche, soul). She brings a grounded scientific background through working with the US Fish and Wildlife Service as a wildlife biologist, while maintaining a private psychospiritual therapy practice during the last 15 years as well.
What is Hypnosis? The word conjures images of a Svengali-type figure who has magnetic control over his subjects. The truth is, hypnosis is nothing like how it's portrayed in movies. Hypnosis is simply a natural state of deep physical and mental relaxation. We pass through the hypnotic state daily as we go to sleep at night and as we awaken in the morning.
