Services
The Brian Mark Funeral Home began as The Schoenfeld Funeral Home in 1935. It was started by Otto and Ethel Schoenfeld in Clinton, Wisconsin. Upon Otto's death in 1961, their son, Allen, took over the family business. Allen oversaw the construction of the Beloit facility in 1980, and acquired the Clinton Funeral Home in 1992.
At Brian Mark Funeral Home, we take great pride in caring for our families, and will work tirelessly to provide you with a beautiful, lasting tribute to your loved one. In addition to the services we offer, you will receive an online memorial that you can share with family and friends. While honoring your loved one is our top priority, we also want to help you through this difficult time.
Our staff is comprised of dedicated and licensed professionals with the experience to answer all your questions regarding our services. Please feel free to contact any of our staff members at any time. Brian graduated from the Quinlan School of Business, Loyola University with a BS in Marketing & Finance.
Brian Mark Funeral Home is extremely proud to offer families the comfort and convenience of a peaceful, home-like setting. In the fall of 2020, we began a $250,000 remodel of our building's interior. From the spacious foyer to the elegant chapel, every care has been taken to assure that family comfort comes first.
When it comes to cooking up good will in the Stateline Area, Brian Mark is an expert. Does thinking of Beloit's RibFest make your mouth water? If so, you have Brian to thank. He helped start the annual fundraising cook-off some eight years ago after he and his family made Beloit their new home. A Chicago native, Brian and his family moved here from Appleton, Wis.

I had not used this place before but thought I'd give them a try. I thought since it's a small funeral home that maybe they would need my business. I am sorry I did. After spending an hour with Brian, I truly wished that I could have moved my loved one to another funeral home. 2 years prior, I had used DMW and was pleased. They took care of everything and helped us get what we needed as far as life insurance etc.
This place made US go and pay the cemetery. DMW didn't. we had no frills, no funeral, no visitation , just a graveside service. And it was $ 4,000 more than DMW

I was completely unfamiliar with the funeral process when my dad was dying, so I called Brian Mark. With kindness and patience, he provided an honest explanation of what would happen when the day came and the costs involved. He made himself available 24/7 and put my mind at ease, making a difficult time SO much easier and less stressful. I can't say enough good things about him. He's definitely the kind of trustworthy, dependable, salt-of-the-earth person you want handling something so personal and important.
