Leaving 2 stars because the price was great and they were nice people, but my hair looked so bad afterward that I had to go get it fixed elsewhere. Highlights were blotchy and nothing like what I wanted. Layers chopped and uneven. Also, be prepared to discuss politics. That’s all the other clients talk about and the employees will ask you what your views are.
Friendly people but, unfortunately, you get what you pay for here.

If you like the comfy, "at home" feeling of a small neighborhood salon, this is the place for you! The ladies there are great, personable, and very skilled at what they do. I highly recommend paying them a visit! They zapped my "covid-hair" back to life and I could not be happier! :)

I got a hair color a few days ago, I got it purple. "Ve" helped at the beginning, she bleached my hair and she is really nice, I loved her. However, the second person who applied the color, I can't say the same... She pulled my hair a lot and I didn't like that at all. My hair did not come out the exact color I was looking for, but it was because I got black color before. I also got my eyebrows done and I loved them too!
It's was ok in general, I will give them 5 🌟 if she did not pulled my hair like that.

We have come here a few times for simple things like trims but we are always very satisfied!!! I have gone to so many salons where you say JUST A TRIM and they end up cutting off half a foot of your hair. We always get our hair cut by Lo Ann who is wonderful and very honest and knowledgeable. She will tell you how it is damaged and how damaged and where and how to fix it. My aunt used to get lash extensions here as well and loved it!! We recommend 100%

I have been searching for a new hair salon for quite some time. I left my old salon because of the rising prices and the fact that my hairdresser was never available when I needed an appointment. I searched Yelp as well as area groups on Facebook. Whenever someone would ask for salon recommendations, Gilded always came up. People could not stop raving about the service that they received. This is the absolute most wonderful place in the city! The women who work her are angels. They take the best care of my grandmother in every way!! Their work is efficient, reasonably priced, and always looks great. My mother, aunt, and grandmother all go here with regularity. I really can't tell you enough about how great this place is!!! They are beyond kind and I'm so grateful for the way the love my family.

I have been coming to this salon for almost 20 years! Everything from Loann doing the coloring and cutting of my hair (blonde to black back to blonde over the years, and long to short back to long), to Tina waxing my eyebrows and V with her amazing pedicures. I always leave feeling refreshed and I have never found a salon so reasonable!!

For the first time experience, I'm so upset. It doesn't help that I am pregnant, due any day, and now I have to go to another salon to fix their crap work... which is the last thing I want to deal with. I tried the local neighborhood salon seeing 5 star reviews. It must have been for their hair bc it's not for their nails.
After being told originally they could remove the powdered nails on the phone, I learned that they couldn't. They made me wait for an hour from original appointment time to only give me 15 sloppy minutes to rush me out for their next appointment. I

LoAnn is amazing! I stopped in today for a much needed haircut. I just moved to the neighborhood. She cut my hair the right way. She asked me a few questions, figured out my personality, then cut my hair perfectly. She explained to me how she was cutting my hair to achieve the effect. I will describe my future trips as Fast, Fun, Friendly, & Frequent.
