Central Counseling Services is located in Riverside and Murrieta, California. We offer professionally trained, all master level staff (LCSW, LMFT & LPCC) and registered associates. Services
We are in unprecedented times currently, but your mental health should not have to wait. With new information about how to keep safe and many places, we all frequented are closed. Central Counseling Services wanted to provide you with some options in keeping your mental wellness a top priority. We offer Telehealth or also called telemedicine counseling sessions.
In addition to individual, couples and family counseling offered seven days a week we also offer a variety of services to meet the needs of our community. Adult Congregate Living Facilitator (Elder planning): We provide an understanding of the humanly needs for end of life. Grief and Loss Therapy: We know grief and our certified grief therapist can help you walk through you losses.
We help people manage stress, anxiety and depression that comes from living our busy lives. We take a holistic view of your life and together we sort out your goals and what you want from therapy. We look at many aspects of your life to develop a comprehensive treatment plan. We take into consideration your life experiences, both your physical and mental health, relationships, career, and spirituality.
Kids struggle for a variety of reasons including life or family changes, struggles at school, learning problems, divorce, grief, loss of a pet or many other reasons. Kids can often act out and display behavioral problems and when you ask them "why are you acting like this?" they simply can't tell you!
Have you been a victim of a crime? We are here to help you work through the trauma and help get you back to feeling like you again. We know how disorienting you can feel after you have experienced a crime. You may feel scared, helpless, fearful, angry, betrayed. You may also have other feelings like shame, guilt or profound sadness.

The therapist named Jennifer was rude to me, I requested another therapist and then was given Kourtney and while Kourtney was nice to an extent, she invalidated my concerns with my child, trying to pass off her behavioral issues as “normal”, compared her children to mine and wouldn’t allow me in the room with her during sessions with my child because she “had to ask her if it was okay” that I was in there after SHE was the one who suggested my child would open up if I was a part of the session. She ended up telling me it was no use taking my child to her due to her not opening up, so

My daughter loved this counseling office due to the therapy poodles! Stacey went out of her way to be sure that Walter the blind poodle was at the Murrieta office for each of my daughter's appointments. My girl was a tough nut to crack, but the poodles and the staff's persistent good nature toward her, allowed her to make progress when none could be made else where.

This recommendation is based on about 3 visits to this office. The Riverside location is clean, located close to the freeway exit/entrance and tons of parking. Every staff member I have come across seems to be very friendly and outgoing. I bring my son to this location for counseling. While I’m in the waiting area during his session they often have the tv on with a movie, coffee/water and a complimentary snack. I think we will continue coming because finding an awesome staff like theirs is very difficult.
