Dax Ramos was born in New York and raised in Puerto Rico. Dax also known as "Daxhino" pursued his dreams to become a Private Investigator but always was in love with the art of Jiu-Jitsu. Once he moved to Las Vegas he pursued his passion for Jiu-Jitsu under a Carlson Gracie Affiliate Academy.
Daxhino is currently an active competitor and was looking for more so he decided to follow his most admired instructors and competitors Saulo and Alexandre "Xande" Ribeiro.In 2016 after the IBJJF World Masters competition Daxhino decided to take his Jiu-Jitsu journey to the next level and contacted Saulo Ribeiro personally.

This program you will learn fundamental techniques, drills, and more advanced techniques. This program is designed to take your Jiu-Jitsu to the next level by practicing with other Jiu-Jitsu practitioners of different ranks in a safe environment.
This program is designed for our youngest of samurais between the ages 3 and 7, the children will be introduced to the beginning principles and values of Jiu-Jitsu. Students will play interactive games combined with fundamental techniques to help improve the child's coordination and motor skills. This will take place in a safe, fun and family environment.

My son has been training under Professor Dax since 2019 and has enjoyed it. All the other instructors are very good and friendly with kids. My granddaughter who is three has started taking the little warriors class. It's a friendly and family environment that is very inclusive. The academy also offers boxing classes which my son also takes. The coaches there are also very good with kids.

My son has been training with Ribeiro for over 3 years now. We live in Pahrump and try to make it at least 3 times a week and more if we can. This has been an incredible journey for my son, and I can truly and honestly say that he has gained so much within this time. Sensei Dax and his wife Glenda are wonderful people who make you feel welcome and definitely believe in family values. Ashley and Ryan are other instructors that my son has had the opportunity to train with and learn from. They as well have strong family values. Excellent instructors and students. I came in as a visitor for a week and they were very welcoming. I bought the JJ University book a while back so I wanted to see their system first hand. The owner and his wife are very knowledgeable and created a great training environment for their students. It definitely has a family vibe which is always key to running an academy. No egos in this school and highly recommended for anyone local looking for a bjj school or for anyone traveling through. Thank you Ribeiro JJLV for the great experience. I’ll definitely return when I’m in LV again.
