Blue Ash Dental Group is conveniently located at 4815 Cooper Road, Suite 101, in Cincinnati. We are right next to the beautiful Veteran's Memorial in Blue Ash. There's extensive parking available between the office and the Veteran's Memorial. We have three excellent dentists to provide service to you and your family: Ryan M. Detmer, DDS; Ryan Brennan, DDS; and Erica Bockhorst, DDS.

To maintain a tooth's strength: After a large filling or a root canal, your tooth may lack the structural integrity that it needs. A crown is a great way to protect your teeth. If you have a cavity or need a root canal, we will discuss with you the need for a crown if it's necessary. To maintain a tooth's appearance: If your tooth or teeth don't look how you want them to, a crown can fix that.

I've been coming to this dental group since moving to Cincinnati, and can say it has been the most enjoyable and calming experience. I had dental fillings, as well as other dental exams, with Dr. Erica Bockhorst and it's very apparent that she cares very much about the patient. She sent me follow-ups asking how I was doing to ensure my satisfaction and swift recovery. During procedures, she explains everything very clearly, answers all questions with poise, and addresses any concerns. I honestly don't love going to the dentist, but Dr. Bockhorst make it the best possible experience.

The staff here has been amazing to me. I have been going here for a few years now and you can tell how much they love their jobs and care about their clients. My most recent experience here was the procedure for my first crown and I was extremely nervous and anxious about the procedure. Shannon did an amazing job with calming my nerves and within minutes I was laughing and feeling much better about the situation. This place is more like a proctologist's office!
Honesty and integrity, not here. Was charged for a full deep clean and received a shortened cleaning because the DA didn't know how to schedule appointments. 20 minutes for a deep clean doesn't cut it. They will also not do an annual cleaning without a deep clean first.

I switched dentists, and I'm glad I chose this place. They are very thorough and explain what they are doing and what you need nicely. Everyone has been super friendly as well.
The communication is what sets them apart. After my appointment, the dentist emailed me to check in and to give me her personal contact info. Not only that, when I emailed back in the evening, she replied within minutes. I was not expecting that at all.
Also the text alerts are very helpful for a person who tends to forget things!

I had been going to another dentist the past 7-10 years or so and recently had a crown that he had put on come off. Of course I called my former dentist to get it fixed never heard back. I called Blue Ash Dental because I had received a flyer in the mail. They got me in within a week. I was very pleased with the handling of filling out the patient paperwork on my phone. I was thrilled that they stayed on schedule as far as my appointment (that hardly ever happens) and then Dr. Brennan was super nice managed to make me feel at ease because I get anxious when I have to come to the dentist. I'm very glad we chose Blue Ash Dental Group when we moved to Blue Ash. The office has changed a lot over the past decade, but they have been trustworthy and stick by their work. It's a feeling of long-term care over short-term profits. They explain what's going on in understandable and caring terms and take the extra step with billing to make sure that there are no surprises. Scheduling and reminders are convenient and modern, but the office/staff feels friendly and family-like. There is always plenty of parking and it's a great location!

Please be very aware of this company. They claim dental work is needed that is not, overcharge and put fees on the bill that are fraudulent ( claim they have to charge extra for "clean tools, along with fees they can't even explain) They will ask for payment in full upfront then charge more than double what is quoted, and leave your families mouth in pain. However the dental hygienist Sarah is excellent and very personable.

BEWARE! I was told by Dr. Sama Alkalaf after having no prior dental work that I would have to have a root canal on a tooth. I was told this was the procedure that was needed, and they set me up with their billing coordinator so I could pay in full and get scheduled. There was no discussion of a possibility of failure, no discussion of other options, but just that this was the procedure that needed to happen. I scheduled for the following week since I was told if untreated it could get worse. After a very painful 2.5 hour procedure (the numbing wore off three times), I was told I had to go see a

Dr Ryan Detmer and his staff are top notch. We've been going to them for several years, even when they were located in a different area of town. All employees are super nice and efficient, and we never wait more than five minutes to be called back. They will work with insurance companies for you. Always positive experience!!

Misleading. I called for an appointment for my daughter and told them I could not tell if they took my insurance. They were very friendly and told me they would look up my insurance information and get back to me. They said I could cancel my appointment if they did not take my insurance but that I should make one anyway because they were so booked. My daughter's appointment date came and I assumed everything was good because I hadn't heard from anyone. They took my daughter back for a cleaning while I stayed up front work to out the insurance information. I was lectured by several staff
