I just moved to the area and came to this Mobil to get an estimate on some auto repairs. There is a large sign in front of the building that says "Mechanics available Monday through Friday." I made an appointment to bring my car in and have the issues looked at. I was told a "diagnostic" would be performed when I brought the car in. NOWHERE is it posted that "diagnostics " ARE A PAID SERVICE! Also, I was not told at the time of scheduling the appointment that there would be a charge for this! I have been taking my cars here for over 15 years for oil changes and for all repairs and scheduled maintenance (except for repairs covered under the factory warranty). They stand behind their work. The rare times there was an issue, they listened and made it right. From my best estimation, their repair costs are reasonable. The price for a set of tires was over the Costco list price, but it was worth the difference taking my car here since it saved me over an hour since I can walk home and wait. Brought my car in for a rattling noise. They performed an end to end diagnosis first ruling out major mechanical issues and then determined it was a minor issue with a heat shield. They did this at an extremely reasonable cost. The communication at Batavia Mobil is beyond excellent. I was able to speak directly with the mechanic who serviced my car. He provided detailed information about the process and the repair and answered all of my questions before I could even ask them. A warning to any other AAA members: This station is registered with AAA as being open on Sundays, but it is just the oil change mechanic. There is no one there to do any major repairs. I learned this the hard way after my car broke down and I agreed to a $40 surcharge to have it towed 13 miles to here, which was the nearest repair station "open" on a Sunday. Ended up wasting the entire day.

This is a family owned business that really knows its stuff, I have used the roadside assistance, as well as their shop for random repairs on my car. I kind of know how things work and they have never tried to buffalo me. The work is done in a timley fashion and the repairs are done as promised. The place is clean and you can wait for an oil change if you wish, but it is a little cramped. I have been annoyed however at the small fees that are added to the bill. I got 2 tires then I had to pay for mount and balance, shop supplies, and disposal fee. Just a little disappointing. But RECOMENNDED for

I've been going to this place for over 12 yrs and have always left there happy. They do awesome work at a reasonable, fair price. I'm very picky when it comes to someone working on my car.
