Founded in 1912 by Lucian Karolkiewicz, Henry Funeral Service has served the needs of the Polish-American community. During the 1960's, his son, Henry designed and built the present location specifically as a funeral home across the street from Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 33 Ward Street, Worcester.
Dirsa-Morin Funeral Homes, Inc., and John J. Kazlauskas acquired the firm in 1996, maintaining the long tradition of local ownership. The Morin Funeral Home, founded by the late Omer P. LaChapelle, has been serving the Franco- American community in Worcester in its present location on Grafton Street since 1926.

The death of a loved one is the most stressful event in anyone's life, and yet decisions still need to be made. The manner of service and the merchandise must be selected. With guidance and compassion we are able to offer you some peace of mind in an emotional and trying time, while handling all the technical details of the funeral.
Acknowledgement cards, memorial cards, 10 laminated obituary cards, crucifix, and register book. Traditional Burial package does not include charges of paid newspaper notices, cemetery charges, or any other unexpressed merchandise or services. Individual selections can be made from the general price list to accommodate personal preferences and create your own personal service.
Choosing cremation offers several choices for service and memorialization. The following packages are suggestions and may assist you in determining the type of service that would meet your needs. Cremation packages do not include charges of paid newspaper notices OR any other unexpressed merchandise or services.
There are many different reasons for pre-planning a funeral. Pre-planning is often a tentitive plan that puts things into a perspective for future planning. Speaking to others about death and dying is often difficult. Even thinking about it raises a great deal of emotion. In reality, discussions about end-of-life issues and plans can alleviate many problems and emotional strain that often occur with death.
