Upon entering our studio, you will find a warm and friendly setting without the distractions found in health clubs and other larger fitness establishments. Natural sunlight, hardwood floors, and soft music create an atmosphere that is both relaxing and inspiring. Small classes ensure personal attention and high-quality experience.

Beth is trained in Pilates through Balanced Body University and is a Registered Nurse. No matter what your current level of fitness, we will create a satisfying and effective workout. Lessons include work on the Reformer and the Jump Board. Our yoga classes, taught by Tamara, are in the vinyasa style and are designed to be accessible.
Services
I started doing Pilates on the Reformer over eight years ago. I've never been one to love exercise but I love the Reformer. After completing a marathon and developing foot problems, I needed some form of exercise besides walking. Wanting to improve my form and increase the benefits, I decided to pursue education towards becoming a certified Pilates instructor through Balanced Body University.
At Chapel Hill Pilates and Yoga Studio, we offer Pilates Reformer and a variety of yoga classes. All classes are 50 minutes in length unless otherwise noted. If it is your first time to learn Pilates on the Reformer, please call us to schedule a 45-minute introductory lesson. If you haven't had experience as a reformer, this is required before joining a class.
Currently no yoga offerings; if you are interested in a class on Saturdays, please contact the studio and/or the yoga instructor as we may put it back on the schedule with sufficient interest. An introduction is required before joining a pilates class if you don't have previous experience with the reformer.

This is a warm, inviting place to practice yoga. Tamara is a highly qualified, caring, dedicated instructor who provides support for all clients. I was initially drawn to the yoga class because they advertise: Yoga for Every Body; that claim is true. Anyone can benefit and no one will feel out of place here. I am grateful for this place and these classes.

Beth, (owner/instructor and RN), is fantastic. Very well run studio. Clean and comfortable. Her reformer instructions are easy to follow and she’s a great motivator. Started here at the end of 2019 and worked up to three sessions a week. After only 6 sessions, I was getting most exercises down pretty well, with Beth’s gentle corrections, and after 20 sessions, i noticed a huge improvement in my core strength and muscle tone. Lost a little weight as well. Sadly had to stop for shutdown, but started up again this summer and am amazed how quickly my muscle memory kicked in. My back feels a bajillion

Absolutely gorgeous space, the prices for classes are reasonable, and the instructors genuinely care. Lots of options to work out, relax, and feel amazing. The yoga classes are geared to fit you, instead of the other way around.
