I was really looking forward to the Teppanyaki dinner, however their menu does not have noodles listed as part of the Teppanyaki dinner. When the tray from the chef arrived, half of the tray was noodles and half was rice. I informed the waiter prior to ordering that I had a gluten allergy because I had ordered sushi. Unfortunately this must not have been recognized or acknowledged. I was unable to eat my entire dinner and still had to pay for it. It is the first time that we come to this place and we had a terrible experience since we entered the place, the one who received us was super rude, they sat us down and immediately they came to serve us in a super rude way the food was super bad I told the waitress I didn't want to eat it because it was really bad and what he told me was that as I had tried it, I had to pay for it separately. They were super racist by making fun of my whole family when we were dating. I am sure that I will never return to this place because the main thing that is good attention was really bad and the food

So disappointed ... We had great hope for an exceptional evening after hearing recommendations from friends. I had anticipated food the quality of Takaoka in Fort Wayne, IN. This was not even close. More like an average Chinese buffet but worse in some ways. Our 7:00 reservations in reality were 7:30pm to we were seated. Every time a chef needed in or out we had to move for their cart.
Our party of 4 did the Hibachi VIP meals for two. Most expensive on the menu. $82 per couple for soup, salad, fried rice, shrimp, scallops, chicken, filet, lobster, lo mein noodles and grilled vegetables.

I went there last night with my children and my grandchildren. Very disappointed by chef who made food at the table. As a preliminary matter, I have been to this Koto countless times and go here whenever I visit my grandkids from out of State. Frankly, the adults in our party do not go here for the food but for the entertainment provided for the kids by the chef. The chef at our table was horrible-the only entertainment he provided was to light a big fire at the beginning of the meal. He outright refused to do the volcano-did not do any juggling of utensils, did not try to serve one child with

I Decided to try Koto out for a quick lunch date, it's on the opposite side of the street from Hamilton Town center in a little plaza that is opposite of a ramen spot with the same name, it's a great possibility they're the same owners. As we were immediately seated we could see fresh sushi bring prepared along with several to go orders. It took no time for our server to introduce herself and take our drink order. Went here for a date lunch with my husband around 1:30 on a Sunday. Only waited about 10 minutes to be seated in the restaurant side. The hostess was very sweet and started us with drinks since they were a little busy. Our service was great. I ordered the chicken/steak and my husband got the shrimp/chicken. We frequent different hibachi restaurants and this was by far our favorite! Our food was hot and ready about 10 minutes after ordering it! The portions are huge and the quality was great! We will definitely be back!

The food was well cooked and delicious. A little on the pricy side but totally worth it. Their soup and salad starters were especially great. Beautiful interior design and very clean. Only complaint I have is the waiter who was clearly stressed and somewhat not handling it well, as he spilled sauce on our table and left it. Leaving my wife and I to clean up. Otherwise great place.

The food was absolutely delicious and our chef was not only a great chef but a great person with a wonderful funny personality! We were served plenty of food when we were there to be full and a whole take home box full - for the next day for lunch!

Just happened to stop in for lunch. I was first impressed by the atmosphere inside it's so nice and open. Service was great. I got a Pink Dragon which was very tasty. My friend ordered California roll which she said was very good. She also got Hibachi chicken which the portions are very generous. I got the sesame chicken. The portion was very generous the only thing was that I could taste the vinegar in the sauce and the chicken wasn't the typical fried. Which I like the chicken either way but the vinegar was definitely in there. I felt the fried rice didn't have all that much flavor

Our party of 12 had a reservation for a Friday evening at 8. Although we all had arrived by 7:45, we were not seated until approximately 8:45. After checking the status of our reservation several times, we were met with excuses, apologies, and told our table was being cleaned a couple of times. We saw more staff standing around than working. Five hostesses is unnecessary and the busboys were talking more than working so the wait experience was frustrating. The aquarium

I am rating this due to customer service.
The Hibachi was excellent, our roll was mediocre. I didn't like the feeling of being rushed and constantly looked at as if we were inconveniencing them. I can not complain at all about our meal or the ambiance of the restaurant! I'm excited to try the hibachi side next time instead of the sushi side!

This was my first visit to Koto and will not be our last. We did the hibachi lunch and loved it. I ordered the chicken and it came with a choice between mushroom soup and salad. I chose the salad and loved the ginger dressing. I would come back for that alone.
When the hibachi chef came out he made a big fire on the grill and it really scared my almost four year old son, so he didn't do anymore fire. Everything for our lunch was cooked right in front of us. The fried rice, veggies and the chicken. The veggies could have been cooked a bit more but they were good. I loved

This was my first hibachi experience ever. I feel a bit conflicted though--do I judge based on the experience or the food? I'll say the hibachi "show" was a bit entertaining with classic movie pieces such as the flaming volcano and the egg in the pocket thing.
The food was pretty watered down japanese food. The standard package came with a side of miso and iceberg salad. You pay for the proteins and they essentially mix up some fried rice in front of you.
In the end, you walk away somewhat entertained, with plenty of fried rice, and $30 lighter.

We had such a wonderful experience a year ago we decided to celebrate our daughter's 21st Birthday at Koto. Our waitress Ruth was AWESOME!!! She was so personable and sweet. She bought my daughter her first drink as a 21 year old. Ruth and our hibachi server were amazing and they made our visit very special. The hibachi was delicious...sorry we are a greedy family so we forgot to get pictures before devouring our food. We had steak, chicken, scallops, shrimp and swordfish. It came with fried rice, fried noodles and veggies. We also received a salad and miso soup. The portions are plentiful
