This is place is absolutely amazing! If you’re looking for a salon that will actually care for your natural hair, this is the place! The staff and atmosphere is wonderful. This was my first time going there and my stylist was Kavon. Not only is she a talented hairstylist, she is also very kind. Please give this place a try.

AMAZING!!!! Everyone is so polite and helpful. I have been bringing my daughter here for years now and from the 1st time we stepped in the door everyone made us feel so welcomed. Sandie is her stylist and everytime delivers AWESOMENESS her hair always looks beautiful. And hair care products are amazingly awesome as well.

This is one of my favorite places. The staff is super professional. The decor is stylish as well as functional. The salon makes it easy to book an appointment online and the stylists stay very close to the one hour time frame for client services. The desk personnel are friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. My only complaint is that the stylists (the ones I've had) don't rinse the hair very thoroughly after shampooing, but that is just an idiosyncratic thing fir me. It is a great salon.

Solid salon, I don't live in this area (or get my hair done a lot) but if I'm in a bind and need something done quick, I'll come here and always have consistent results. I don't think they have the best hair care practices- sometimes the stylists are a bit rough with natural hair, but if you generally take good care of your hair, it shouldn't be a problem. I'm usually in and out in 2 to 2.5 hours getting a wash, condition, silk press and trim and usually pay around $70.

I wish I could just rate the stylist who was awesome and I planned on booking back with her in a month however checking out at the front did not go so well. They choose at that time to add a card reader and “test” it out on me I guess. The girl ran the card and it charged my card automatically but then she said it did not go through. So I pulled up my account in front of them and showed them the charge and they insisted it did not go through and needed my card again. I gave her my card and she ran it again this time by typing the numbers in and my account was charged AGAIN! I showed them the

The front desk staff is rude …not once but every time I go. It would seem the only front desk person who isn’t down right rude is who I believe to be the owner/manager. There are two staff members (one a young lady in college and the other I believe is the owners daughter) both whom are incredibly rude when they are at the desk alone. At first, I just shook it off, but now I refuse to give them more of money regardless of the services because of these young ladies. They are bothered when you call (which I found out while waiting as they explained how annoyed they were with another customer

I have been all natural for approximately 7years. I normally wear my hair in protective styles (braids/sew-ins). I really did not take care of my natural hair. I would just wash/condition it and occasionally dust my ends before braiding it back up. Due to my hair thinning around the perimeter and my hair not growing any longer than shoulder length I decided to start actually taking care of my hair. After reading reviews I went to Synergy in hopes of finding a regular stylist to take care of and grow my hair out. I booked the New Client Journey service with stylist, Ashley.

It's hard enough to find a place that knows my hair type. I waited more than 10 minutes for my stylist to greet me. When she started, she explained that we'd wash, dry, press, and trim. She didn't add that I'd be left under a hair dryer for an hour after all that.

Now that there is a viral pandemic, they are revealing how little they truly care for others. I was totally blown away at how they try to say they are keeping up with the press conferences when those conferences clearly elaborate on the severity of this pandemic. The salon even

Well, I'm giving 2 stars because I have NEVER gotten one reply, and my question was asked over two years ago. I moved from Cleveland to Florida and my hair was like where the hell are you LOL! So I went natural, and was turned onto Synergi. I loved it for a few months but, unfortunately , my hair wouldn't stay moisturized. My question was asked on the FB thread, and I also asked if there were any Ambassadors in my area, and I didn't even get a response to that! Anyway, I've moved on the Design Essentials. I guess Synergi doesn't work in the certain climates‍.

On time and professional. I have gone to this salon several times and my appointments have always started on time. Some stylists are friendly than others but no major complaints.

I would recommend this salon for natural updos, finger curls, flat twists, etc. I personally would not recommend the salon for blowouts. Their blowouts typically do not last past one day and often leave my hair feeling dry and brittle.

I absolutely love all the ladies in the shop. They make me feel at home. They have excellent customer service and phenomenal skills. I have natural hair and Tileja has been growing my hair for 3 years. She is awesome. You can't go wrong with either of stylist

This place is amazing! As soon as walked in I was instantly greeted and shown around the salon. They have a nice assortment of coffee and tea to sip on while waiting and it smelled great. I usually have my head phones in and watch a show or something while I get my hair done but my stylist Tierra was so funny and easy to talk to I didn't even look at my phone. I was told all about how to take care of my hair correctly and what products to use. It worked. Everyone has been asking me what I did to my hair because it looks so healthy and smooth now. Definitely going back.

Worst service of my life! Especially given that they specialize in natural black hair. I was STUNNED at the outcome. I went in for a shampoo, blow dry and flat iron. When I Say I would have done a much better job myself I am not lying. The stylist kept talking about the product and compliment my curl pattern. The one hour appointment ended up being two hours! She went over with the flat iron a SECOND time and still the results were horrendous! Complete waste of time and money a 10 year old with no Beauty school training would have done a better job! Beautiful salon. My stylist did a great job styling my hair. My hair stayed straight for a week until I went back to New York - humidity on the East Coast is brutal.

Let me preface this by saying I have been natural for 8 years, and I have hair down to my shoulders right now (after many mini/big chops over the years). I know my own hair better than anyone and my hair care routine is very simple.

Have visited here about 3 Times.
The second time the the stylist did not detangle my hair before washing, needless to say it was a mess to the point where Karen had to come take over.
The last time was the straw that broke the camels back.
I called, asked for cornrows going back, was scheduled an appointment.
Got there....washed my hair, not very well, then was told no one in the shop knew how to braid. I said huuuuhh?!
Ended up being forced to get flat twists going back.
Not going back ‍. Better places that can do a better job at a much less cost.

I do not recommend anyone spend their money here. I take very good care of my hair. Deep conditioner once a month, flat twist and wash and go's. I flatiron my hair every 8 weeks for trims. I'm also color treated. For halloween I went to Shatoya Wilson loft 17 at cherry bottom/Under synergi platform. She got my hair bone straight. She also trimmed my ends (she did not do a good job with the trim. My co worker pointed out to me I need a trim after her dust of the ends). Two weeks later, My hair is washed and I have straight ends. I didn't jump to conclusions. I said

I always book randomly when I see my kinks out of control. Therefore I rarely have the same person style my hair consistently. To my advantage all of stylist are truly talented and care about maintaining a healthy head of hair. The products used in the salon give my curls definition and hold. I purchased these products and its my greatest hope that I can learn to twist my own hair eventually which the salon encourages and offers workshops at a fee for individuals to learn how to style their own hair.I hope to attend one of these workshops eventually.

I will start with the pros before sharing my story. Those are that they explain each of their product to you as they use them. But that's because they want you to buy them.

I was referred to Synergi Salon by a family friend -- a stylist who anticipated that Synergi mousse and glaze would suit my hair type. She was correct!

My first visit was during late January 2016. Professional, personable, and polite stylist Jamila Bowman set my hair on blue and yellow perm rods. After balking initially, owner Karen Gary finished the style by using clippers to taper the back and sides. ***The Synergi mousse and glaze provided great hold and sheen. A+++ hold and sheen!*** I was very pleased with the resulting curly style.

I started going to Synergi Salon in October 2014. I decided to go to this salon because I wanted to get to know my hair better and get it in the best shape possible.

When the shampoo assistant washed my hair, she was very complimentary stating how thick my hair was, how nice the color was and how nice the curl pattern was. Once I arrived to Karen Gary's chair, she blew my hair dry and told me that my hair was thick, but it could be thicker... My first trip to Synergi wasnt exactly what I had hoped for. I was in a friends wedding and I had just taken my braids out a week before. I knew that I wanted a trim and something cute for her wedding. The stylist went over what the options were and stated that a style could be chosen/decided after we checked the length. Now I can say she washed the life out of my hair and I appreciated it! It definitely was needed. So cut to deciding on a style... she asked what I wanted .. Rudely spoken to by another stylist with a contradictory statement than that of the stylist providing tbe service. Instead of speaking to the new customer maybe address the person performing the service to address your concerns? The stylist was put on the spot and placed in an awkward position and I am left with a less than positive first impression. No apology given

After a couple bad experiences, I did not like anyone touching my hair. One day, I decided to give Synergi a try because I wanted to straighten my hair. I absolutely love this place. Felicia did an amazing job and was very gentle. My hair was so bouncing and shiny after she flat ironed it. So excited I found this place!
