Great (home made cooking)! Great staff don't miss this restaurant if your in the area especially the all you can eat fish on Friday. Three of us had breakfast this morning & is was very good - the staff was friendly with excellent service & it was very quiet & comfortable. We will be returning again & again!

Was really looking forward to eating here but what a disappointment. Ordered wings, no wings and then I ordered some potato skins and ended with a sad attempt at them under cooked bacon, cold hard sour cream and unmelted cheese plus more batter than potatoe. Burger was ok but bread was old and fries under seasoned saggy and oily. Sent back the potato skins as they were inedible and still got charged. Not sure if it was an off night for the kitchen but in my opinion you are better off eating at a gas station.

I have been there several times for breakfast hoping for improvement since they are close to my house and the service is friendly, but the food is such low quality/bad and prices are high. The coffee is really bad, way too watered down. Gas station coffee taste 3 times better. If you are looking for a decent breakfast in the area drive to Patty Ann’s, I will not be going back here unless there is a drastic improvement.

Took an hour and 20 min for our dinners to hit the table. My prime rib was cold. The young waitress took it back, and spooned a bit of warm AuJu onto it. I shook my head and ate it. Really sad. We had high hopes for this local business to succeed. The rest of the food was decent, but we will not be returning.

New to the area and was looking forward to this home town restaurant based on other reviews but had a very poor experience. Extremely slow service. Had to ask for more drinks. Food took about 50 minutes to get to us. I ordered the two meats of brisket and smoked sausage. I was given one small slice of what looked like prime rib trimming, not at all brisket. It was too tough to chew. The “smoked sausage” was a half of a kielbasa charred on a grill. I will say the young server gal was trying her best but was set up for failure. Only one working, and knew nothing about the menu. Very disappointed

Just ate lunch here with my family, I was pleasantly surprised. The food was so good. It is home made and all DELICIOUS. My mom and I ordered the peach cobbler, oh my gosh I’ve never had such a good cobbler in all my life. It was perfect, the peaches were real peaches, it was so yummy. I highly recommend this place! The use a pretzel batter which I thought was a unique twist and my family actually enjoyed it. The server was super nice and a people person, she connected with us and we will be back. We love it.

The 1st time the family and tried Bernie’s was the 1st weekend they opened. As any new restaurant with new owners to the business, it’s going to take them a few weeks maybe a couple of months to work out the ins and outs of the business. With that being said I didn’t feel it would be fair for me to post a review.
So here it’s been a while since they have been open.
The salad bar is not worth charging for with wilted lettuce, the tomatoes I’m pretty sure we’re a few days old as well as other toppings.
Dinners entrees were good, portion sizes and presentation need some help.
