We are so thankful for the amazing staff at Cheney Vet Clinic. It was the day before Thanksgiving so we had been turned down by every other vet in Spokane and North Idaho. We had been waiting at the Spokane Emergency clinic for over 2 hours and decided to try Cheney, hoping for a miracle. They not only squeezed us in last minute on a really busy, short day, but they had our hurt cat, Gus, under anesthesia, helping him within minutes of walking in the door. We cannot express our gratitude for the way they treated our family. The care he received was excellent and very affordable! Gazpacho is now

We trust the wonderful vets at Cheney Vet Clinic with our kittens and they help us keep them healthy while they grow into beautiful cats. We have a 16 year old girl, a 7 year boy and a new boy kitten who all have spent their lives with Dr. Baker and Dr. T.

I have been dreading taking my elderly dog to a vet due to bad experiences I’ve had at other vets. When I showed up they answered all of my questions and insured me that my dog would be good to go soon. My dog is around 12-13 years old and his teeth were falling out and his breath was awful. After my visit I was so happy to see that my dog came home healthy and happy. He is no longer in pain and I can not thank these guys enough for the hard work they do! Definitely would recommend!!

I was put on hold for 15 minutes while the gal looked up a price to toe nail clipping. Also my 2 dogs have to have a nap while they do it. I finally hung up waited a few minutes called back. Got an answering system. Left a message. No call back. Called again. 350.00!! And I believe she was saying each dog was that price. No way!!!

I am always so impressed with the staff at Cheney Vet. My boy has severe fear anxiety and requires sedation to get his nails cut and I never worry about how he is being treated. We are always met with genuine care and I can't tell you how much it means to me. I almost had to make a very hard choice with him because his aggression got so bad and I didn't know if I'd ever be able to find a vet that was willing to work with us and I'm so thankful we found you! You're all truly angels

The moment a pet seems "too difficult" to work with they'll charge you all types of different fees! They labeled my cat as aggressive and charged me extra every time, but I've seen other professionals who have worked with my cat who beg to differ. She's not difficult, just needs extra time and care to work with. Cheney Vet made it seem like such a hassle and impossible to work with her.

I went to this clinic for my sick Macaw when my normal Vet was on vacation. I had heard good things about this clinic and their staff. These guys are awesome! They are so kind and pretty knowledgeable on exotics. Their prices for office visits and stuff were way less than other Vet Clinics that I had been to in the past! Dr. Baker and her crew are awesome! I highly recommend them. Thank you for helping my sick bird get better! I will bring all my fur and feathered family members to them. :)

I just needed my pups nails trimmed but wasn't expecting to pay $35! BS. Don't go here. Apparently she was too much of a hassle and added a "difficulty fee" of $18! She's a small chihuahua about 8 yrs old and 9-12 lbs. I would do it myself but I can't trust myself not to potentially hurt her. I'm away from my home town clinic, and they do so much better for $10 (somtimes free) and have never had problems with her, I've never even heard of a "difficulty charge." She didn't tell me till I handed her my card there would be an extra charge, I said

We had two kittens that we needed to get spayed and neutered and this place was both local and convenient, and not terribly expensive for the procedure, so we decided to take them here. This is not our normal veterinary clinic but because of the price difference we decided to take them here. Both procedures went well and both cats are doing well today. While they were recovering we called about our female cat who they saw that day. Apparently her body has trouble disolving the stiches and her body had a small reaction to them so they gave us some antibiotics for her. I didn't have any complaints

From the moment I walked in the door the staff was sour-faced and rude. The doctor insulted my knowledge of my own pet, and immediately imparted to me that my rabbit was old and "probably going to die soon." He planned simply to run every expensive test possible to make up for the fact that he knew next to nothing about lagomorph biology. If you have a rabbit or other exotic, take them to an actual specialist, this place will simply try to empty your wallet.
