Services
We've been treating large and small animals since 1983, when we started our vet practice. We have since grown to become an established multi-vet practice and we enjoy helping our neighbors' pets in our town clinic as well as making farm visits. We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories.
Annual dental exams and cleanings are recommended to protect your pet from many health problems and help them maintain a healthy and clean mouth. Proper diet and nutrition can help your pet fight against disease, maintain a proper weight, and promote the overall well-being of your pet. Annual wellness exams evaluate your pets overall health, detect problems before they become serious, and keep them on track to live a long, healthy life.

My dog was injured and they got me in that very day when no other veterinarian would near the town I live in. They all said I'd have to drive an hour to an emergency vet. Instead I drove an hour to this amazing clinic. When I lived in Allegan this is where I took my dogs and loved them. They have great office staff and great Drs. who really care. That's not something I've experienced with the vets and office staff we've been to in our new town. I will be going to Allegan for all care for my doggies in the future!

Such an amazing hospital! Front staff are super nice. Always go above and beyond to help me. The technicians are very knowledgeable. They are very professional and they always call me a couple days later to check on my sick pups. I cannot say enough about Dr. Phillips and Dr. Blakeman! I've had the privilege of seeing both of them with my pets. I know my pets are always cared for with the best medicine!!

They were able to fit me into their schedule the same day I called to try and get an appointment for my cat. The matter was not an emergency, but was rather pressing.
Dr. Gram was very kind and thorough with her exam and all the techs were so nice. My cat was feeling better that very same night and Dr. Gram followed up with me the next day just like she said she would.
Yes, it turned out to be a higher bill, but what I thought was reasonable considering all that they did.
I have had nothing but good experiences with Allegan. They will be my vet for as long as I have fur babies!

Just moved back into the area recently and wanted to find somewhere to take my pets that cares about animals. This is the place. The vets and assistants were so attentive and respectful to my cat, loving on him and giving him treats. I could tell my pet felt comforted and cared for and this made me so much more relaxed. Will continue to come back with all of my pets!

I had a great first time visit at Allegan Veterinary Clinic. After trying a couple other veterinary offices that were recommended to me, this visit was a pleasant surprise. The other offices we tried were slow with paperwork and had vets that I felt talked down to me. Dr Philips was kind, encouraging, took time to talk to me about questions I had and talked to me respectfully. The rest of the office staff I had contact with were kind and friendly as well.

I absolutely love the staff! Super friendly & extremely patient. My boy has people anxiety at first. I let the staff know and had proper restraints to keep everyone comfortable. By the end of the appointment the muzzle was off and he was a puddle of love in the staff's lap. They were willing to spend a few extra minutes with him to make sure he was comfortable and even sat on the ground with him the whole appointment. Thank you so much for making both of us more comfortable!!!

This is for EVERYONE. The front desk & vet technicians are truly a pleasure-especially Jessica (we literally speak weekly)!! Every single person is kind, patient, & thorough when listening to my questions/thoughts/concerns. I never feel rushed & always feel heard. Dr. Anderson is absolutely phenomenal. We have 3 dogs & 3 cats- a few have heath hang-ups. She (along with all staff) stop at nothing to remedy any issue as quickly as possible. Everyone is quick to help & very pleasant along the way. I am so lucky to have found a building that happens to house the most incredibly knowledgable & caring
