I absolutely love how detailed Yvonne is! She brought life back to my hair, it's so healthy now! I showed her a photo and she made it even better than I imagined. She was professional, nice, is appointment only currently due to covid, and really took the time to perfect my new mom cut. Definitely coming back.

I have been going to this Salon for over a year now and last night I was driven to make the decision of stopping. The owner was so concerned about a financial issue that could have easily been taken care of the next day that I received poor service. I was there for three hours for a service that if properly scheduled and serviced should have taken two hours. I got a poor haircut and I was charged top dollar. Poor business.

This was my first time at this salon and I had the pleasure of getting my hair done by Yvonne! She was extremely sweet and really listens to what you want. Although I made the mistake of asking for layers and thinning my thick Asian hair out. She did exactly just that, but sadly, it wasn't what I pictured. I mainly blame myself for the poor communication though. Not feeling use to the lightness of my thin hair, I sort of panicked and decided to call Yvonne a few weeks later to ask "how much of my hair did you thin?". She was very sweet over the phone and remembered who I was! We

We walked in to get my husband hair cut. We didn't have to wait but was immediately able to sit on the salon chair. We also didn't have an appointment. His hair was long and needed it. Yvonne didn't cut his hair but another Asian lady that had short haircut his hair. This will be our place to come if we need hair cuts in SF.

Roommate told me that there's a $9 manicure right next to where we live so we decided to go and try it out. No appointments necessary, walk-ins welcome.
My roommate got her manicure and Lisa, the nail lady, seemed like she was good. I got excited and decided to get acrylics instead of just manicure. One down part is though that they only have one chair for nails so I had to wait about 30 mins to get mine done.
I asked her for a specific nail shape and she says she got it. She's working on my nails and all of a sudden, they are too short and ugly. I kinda frowned and when she started

Have only had four other people aside from my mother cut my hair and Yvonne has been cutting my hair for about 8 years now.
For men, a cut costs you $20 before tip! Yes it is like Supercuts but only better! Yvonne"s salon has 4 chairs and she also has a nail lady and shampoo lady. i'm just a guy so I don't need the fancy schmancy head massage and wash.
Usually there is somebody getting their nails done, a bridal party getting hair and make-up done or some socialite ladies getting ready for some gala opening.

I've grown up with this salon, since their previous location. Yvonne has been around since I was in elementary school and even hired my mom for a period of time until mom retired. Mom and I go here to get our hair cut.. I explored around for the past two years but still came back and will be back. Yvonne definitely skilled. She can cut layers beautifully. Thank you!

Finally came here after 6 years of trying out different places around the city. Everything from hong Kong and designer hair cuts on Irving street. To the different hole in the wall ones on Clement street..
They would try to pull a fast one on you. Charging you for small amenities and then not tell you till you hear the total due at the end of your session...
Take a step into Yvonne's and you can already tell which owner actually takes pride in her profession and work place.
You will definitely need to book an appointment if you want to get your hair cut specifically by Yvonne.

I have really hard hair to cut. You may think straight would be easy. Well it shows every flaw and every hair stylist wants to give me more "volume". Whatever. My hair is so flat and slick it won't stay in a braid and a half bottle of hairspray won't get it to stay in a direction it doesn't grow.
Yvonne is one of two stylists I have ever found (the other is in Southern California) who can cut my hair the first time and have it look great. It looks even at the ends but without that "just cut" weird chopped look. I can let my willful cowlick and side-ish

I love Yvonne and all her manicurist/bang-trimming friends!
I used to live just around the block from this place, I just moved and really miss seeing their smiling waves as I passed by on the way to the bus stop. I got my bangs trimmed here regularly, even though my "nice" hair salon does it for free; how could I miss out on the convenience and friendlieness just across the street!
Before I had bangs, I used to occassionally get my nails or toes done here, and the lady who does nails (I wish I knew her name too!) was so sweet and friendly as well, in addition to doing a great job

I've never had a haircut here, so I can't accurately comment on that... but I've been going to this place for 4 years for mani/pedi. For some reason, I keep returning to Lisa for nails. She's just so damn sweet. She always remembers details about my life. It's simple, straightforward mani/pedi work (no fancy massage chair or anything like that) but you get what you pay for ($22 for mani/pedi) and it looks cute too. Only one nail person there-Lisa, so if you want to bring a friend for a mani/pedi date, you'll have to go one at a time.

I love this place! Yvonne is super sweet and gives you a $75 haircut --for $35. She really takes her time and does a thorough job of it. Plus she has strong hands when washing your hair but didn't rip through my insanely tangly, fine hair when combing it out - she had the gentle touch.
For the same price as one haircut somewhere else, I got a cut (with shampoo and blowdry) plus a long-lasting mani/pedi. This place is a gem.
