We’ve lived here since October 2019. The complex is well managed with an on-the-spot maintenance staff. In November 2021 we signed another 15 month lease. Reasonably priced accommodations within 10 minutes of all of the major shopping centers, stores and restaurants. I highly recommend The Legends Luxury Apartments for your next home!!

To have “luxury” included in the name of these apartments is a bit of a reach. Something you should know before moving here is that there are two different types of buildings. Half of the buildings are clearly a new build and inside the apartments are very nice. Unfortunately, the building I live in is a part of the other half of buildings that are very clearly older and more run-down. Inside the apartment looks NOTHING like the photos they have online.
I’ve attached some photos I took on MOVE-IN day. We had to wait about a month to move in to give them time to “clean” the apartment

I’ve been living here for almost 7 months now and I absolutely hate it everything in the apartment is falling apart maintenance crew is nice but I call the office often because of my Wi-Fi the Wi-Fi here is so bad whenever it’s actually working which is hardly never don’t recommend anyone to live here Think about the people That go to school that live in here how do they do their homework online if they don’t have Wi-Fi? !!!!

I have lived at The Legends over a year now, and will continue to do so. The staff has been outstanding. Friendly, courteous, and very helpful. The maintenance issues were all minor (light switch, ceiling fan) were taken care of same day, actually, within hours.. The complex is quiet, and very well maintained. Great fitness center, very nice pool,… and very clean environment. Best of all, the neighbors are all friendly and respectful. Even the pets are friendly. Centrally located, close to everything. Without a doubt, the best apartments in Hickory and surrounding area.

I believe these apartments really once were luxury but when you don’t replace the original single pane windows in over 16 years that’s not good. I could stand and watch my draperies move when the wind blew. The property management was not easy to deal with either. They were really rude on more than one occasion. I did like the maintenance staff but they could only do what they were allowed to do. The location is great but I do not recommend this complex

I was a resident at the legends for almost 2 years. This complex is a great place to call home in Hickory, NC. The units and facilities are well maintained. They offer nice landscaping, two pools, nicely equipped fitness center, and gas grills for grilling poolside. Although I only had a few minor maintenance requests, the maintenance department… was always quick to respond and were very professional. I can’t say enough about the office staff. This team is awesome. They are great to work with and always attentive, helping in anyway possible. It was a sad day to leave such a great place

Awesome Home! Great Friendly Management and Team! I have lived at The Legends for over a year now and I enjoy the amenities, neighbors (for the most part) and staff. The property is kept up really well. Anytime there has been any issue, the maintenance guys have addressed the issue in a timely manner. (I have only had maybe 3 or 4 maintenance calls in over a year). Yes there has been a few issues or concerns over the year, but anytime there was a concern, the property employees always tried to resolve the issue as best as they could. They can't control everything about your neighbors ;-) Thanks
