Harvard Avenue School

This is a sample schedule to give families an idea of how children spend their days at Harvard Avenue School. Actual drop-off and pick-up times are specific to each class and range from 8:00 am-9:15 am/12:00 pm-1:15 pm. We will make up the second snow day on Martin Luther King Day. If more snow day make-ups are needed, the teachers will communicate to you how/when they will be made up.

Delilah has been an early childhood educator for seven years, working with infants through Pre-K. In her role as lead Pre -K teacher at Capitol Hill she works to ensure children are prepared for kindergarten by creating a fun, nurturing, creative environment where students develop confidence, compassion and community.

We offer a Waddler Program at our Capitol Hill campus for children ages 18-23 months as of the fall of their entry year. Parents may choose to enroll from 2-5 days a week. There are up to ten children in class each day with up to three teachers.

Our classroom is light, bright, and full of cheery spaces with all of the materials carefully selected to foster the social, emotional, physical, artistic and intellectual development of our youngest students.Our Waddler space offers a charming environment in which young children can play, explore, create, and learn!

Waddler Program (Capitol Hill campus only, for children generally ages 16-22 months as of fall of entry year) The Waddler Program is offered for three and a half hours a morning. There are up to 10 children in each class with three teachers. Toddler Program (Capitol Hill campus, for children generally ages 24-34 months as of fall of entry year) The Toddler Program is offered for four hours a morning.
