We have been renting from Real Properties Group for over 3 years and this is BY FAR the best rental company I have dealt with in San Diego!! Vikki is a wonderful property manager. She always keeps the apartment property clean and well taken care of. She is very quick to respond to any concerns or problems with the unit. She always gave plenty of notice to tenants about any repairs or walk-throughs. We are sad to be moving out of our place, but given the great track record we have had dealing with Vikki and her team, I don't suspect there will be any problems with the move out process or getting

I'm actually in agreeance with the latest reviews too. By far they have been the most on-the-ball and responsive property managers I've had yet. And I've been lucky enough to have pretty nice ones but I feel like Vikki and her team have always gone above and beyond when ever I've had a concern. Every time they've sent a tech over they've all been very nice and thorough. I've been at my unit in Hillcrest for over 2 years now and it's been wonderful. Ok, so this company has had some poor reviews, but I've got to say my experience was great. I moved from out of state, and found their advertised apt near the beach online. I did something I have never done in my life-- rented the place sight unseen! Sometimes photos can be deceiving, but I was pleased to see that the pictures of the apt were accurate when I finally got here. So having paid all the deposits and first month rent, I headed over to see the place....nervous what I'd find. It was IMMACULATE. I'm going to go against the crowd here and say I've had a wonderful time renting from RPG. I've been in the same house for 3 years with some changes to roommates each year, and I'm only leaving because I'm getting married!
The place itself is wonderful; Vikki has been prompt, polite, and extremely helpful with all our needs; the rate increases have been very reasonable with each new lease; and the crews they hire to do the occasional repair have been very fast and capable.
I'd like to remind readers that it's much easier to drum up motivation to write a review

Worst landlord ever. Don't respond to emails or voicemail at all. Me having no heat last winter was deemed a low priority. I have 3 of the noisiest neighbors on the planet and they do nothing. Despite various agreements that I signed with them (noise, garbage, etc) they don't enforce. I'd highly advise against moving in to a property that they "manage" (word used loosely).

I was a tenant in an apartment that this company owned. They were not only rude and unprofessional, but the secretary, Vikki, personally attacked my roommates and I on several occasions over lights going out, the broken dishwasher, and other things that were under general wear and tear in the lease agreement. My roommate and I had broken a few items in the house and had inquired about the cost to repair the items and then paid for them in a timely fashion. Extremely rude and unprofessional. Firstly, they drew up our lease wrong. My roommate had to return it to get it done right. (They even did it in our favor as our rent was $1550/mo and on the lease it read $895/mo) Despite this nice gesture, the moment our lease was signed and the deposit was submitted they treated us like trash. Our sink in the bathroom was broken and I would've had to fix it myself had they not realized that that was not possible. My roommate submitted a rent check from the wrong account and was promptly yelled at by Debra. My neighbors have also said they have had similar interactions

The apt. complex I live in is your basic satisfactory 2 bedroom. Things usually get fixed in a timely fashion and the grounds are relatively well taken care of. However, it would be nice if the people employed there knew what they were responsible for and about renter's rights at all. When our entire house flooded and my roommate and I could not live there for a week they actually yelled at me when I politely inquired about the fact it was not necessary to pay rent when the unit is uninhabitable. Oh, then they gave us three sand bags and it flooded again. Duh. We obviously ended up not having
