Dr. HagShenas began his professional education at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, where he earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery.

Prior to my visit I was very nervous, I knew that during the Pandemic I began to self soothe and gained some bad habits...like neglecting my teeth. My fear was that I'd hear about everything I did wrong and how bad it left my teeth. My worry was pointless and unnecessary Dr. Amir HagShenas, DDS and staff were so kind and attentive a felt for the first time in month's as an essential worker someone was actually willing to care for me and my needs for a change. There aren't enough stars I can give.

The moment you enter the office of Dr. HagShenas at the Silicon Valley Smile Solutions his lovely staff greets you with a warm smile and makes you feel less anxious about seeing a dentist. The entire staff of the SVSS is highly professional, knowledgeable, and friendly; That makes it so much easier to keep coming here again. Starting from Gina, the most professional hygienist I have ever had, to Dr. HagShenas himself, who was kind enough to see me for an emergency root canal extraction on his day off, this business is an epitome of caring and passionate professionals

I came hear for a consultation in mid November.. I have double wisdom teeth and needed 8 pulled... the consultation went great so I thought. During the consultation I made it very very clear im afraid of dental work and would like to not feel a thing or see a thing or hear a thing during my wisdom teeth removal.. this was my 3rd opinion and the 2 previous both insisted I get put under general anesthesia and they explained it to me... silican valley smiles enformed me I would be under sedation.. but what they didn't tell me was what kind.. I thought we were both on the same page and GENERAL

I came to dr hagshenas 1 month ago for consultation. His office staff was so friendly and made me feel at home. I had my consultation with the funniest dentist. I wanted to do a gum graft, and dr Amir said he does do that. However, i got caught up and had to wait for my surgery due to family problems. I will definitely go back for regular dental work and cleanings. Awesome work staff

My dentist and the staff are wonderful and first class! I hate going to the dentist but often go because I had a bad biking accident that messed up my teeth. Once I am there they go out of their way to make me feel comfortable and pain free. They are patient and I enjoy talking to them. They really stand by their name. You are always greeted with a smile! I love my dentist!

Dr. Hagshenas is wonderful, friendly, and highly skilled. His assistant, Cyndi, is just amazing and very experienced in her job too.
Yesterday I had an implant surgery in their office. They put a huge implant in place of one of my missing molars and they did their best to make me feel comfortable during the 2-hours process. This morning, given the nature of the surgery (putting a large screw into your jaw bone!), I was expecting to feel at least a little bit of pain or swelling around the implant, but absolutely nothing. I wasn’t even so sure do I need to take my medicine (pain killer + antibiotics

Staff - I evaluated a handful of dentists and the front desk here was the most friendly and helpful of any DDS I spoke with by far. Willingness to go the extra mile to help and always good follow up.
Dr H - very kind and friendly bedside (chairside?) manner. He was knowledgeable and helped answer questions that other DDSs didn't take the time to help with. He provided options yet wasn't pushy with "upsells".
Environment - nicely kept up, clean office in a well maintained

I was flossing at 7AM on a Tuesday, and the floss got stuck. Trying to pull it out, I heard a sudden CRACK. Uh oh. Bye-bye cheap composite filling.
I called and was in the chair at 10AM. Dr Hagshenas removed the offending filling and replaced it with an inlay that they made in the office. They have my undying loyalty. I drive 45 minutes to get to his office, but would never think of going anywhere else.

Been with Dr. Hagshenas since he took over Dr. Vahamaki's practice - over 20 years!
He and his team (Stephanie, Jennifer, Lindsey, Michelle & others) -- always professional and conscientious as my wife & I advanced from our middle to more senior years of dental needs. During that time, he & his team also served my growing and now grown four children, including a few dental health emergencies over that span. Early years saw some send out services causing split appointments; but now with so many technology advances, I leave with restorations complete on same visit. One marvels

I had so many bad and expensive experiences with Dentists and Ortho/Endodontist's it's literally criminal. I visited 3 practices, received 3 identical diagnosis's and decided on SVSS. Dr. Hagshenas is the consummate Professional. He is kind, gentle, polite, considerate...genuine. And talented. The people that he employs love him, and for good reason. You will, too. Me? Surgical extraction, bone graft, cavities, crowns, implant...Why am I smiling? Because I can, it doesn't hurt and I'm having STEAK FOR DINNER. ((BlaseVan)).

So, I have MAJOR, MAJOR, MAJORRRRR dentist phobia so it took me awhile to find a dentist that I'd be comfortable with. After 4-5 different appointments in 4-5 different dental offices, I found Dr. Amir and I cannot put into words how extremely amazing he is (and his team!), thanks to Yelp!
I'm writing this review based on the following procedure: 2 wisdom teeth extractions, 4 fillings, teeth whitening trays, and I was also orally sedated.
The location --- it's deeper in Campbell so give yourself some extra time if you're coming from San Jose. It's in a big brown building

Dr Hagshenas is the best dentist I've ever been to and I've been to quite a few. Due to a bad experience I had a while ago, I now have dental phobias. Because of this, I've bounced from dentist to dentist and now will only see dentists who offer sedation which is how I came upon SVSS. What keeps me going back to Dr. Hagshenas is a few things:
-The Office: His office is beautiful, extremely classy, and goes without saying; spotless. In the waiting room there is a mini fridge with waters. There are 2 tvs for each chair; one tv for pulling up pictures of your teeth and xrays and one

I really wish there were 10 stars, because I'd give it. I have a fear of dentists. Dr. Haghshenas & Staff set me at ease quite quickly. Dr. HagShenas was very genuinely interested in my concerns, compassionate about my fear, and just an all around great human being. He explained in great detail my options, but not to make me feel stupid. He was very informative and helpful. I'm so grateful I was able to have met him and staff.
