I found Peter online but I have to say I’m so lucky to find Peter as my immigration lawyer. He is the best lawyer I’ve met before. I got J1 visa and I need to apply for the J1 waiver before my greencard. And my previous lawyer didn’t do enough work and got my first application rejected. I almost lost hope at that time. But after I found Peter’s office. They gave me lots of hope and support. And they tried their best to get my case approved. I really appreciate it. And I have to say they are not only my lawyer, but family. Trust me! If you are in the similar situation. You can definitely

Peter assisted me in filing a waiver in order to reapply for a student visa into the US. He was very knowledgeable about the different laws and procedures, and could always answer all of my many questions. He also had a great response time to emails and would be available to schedule phone calls when needed. I would recommend him to anyone who asks!

Peter and his paralegal Jen were simply outstanding!!!
My case was incredibly difficult to handle. By this I mean that I had been looking for about 10 years for someone to represent me and solve my complex problem.
I cannot thank this firm enough for the professional, yet compassionate way they treated me and my very difficult case.
Even when I was feeling worried about the time that the process took (like I said, it was a complicated case), they always told me to hang in there and trust them. I did and am so glad I did:) I finally got my immigration problem resolved!

The best Law firm I know. I am very satisfied with the professional service I've received. Also, they do not treat you just as clients but they go above that and treat you as a FAMILY. Peter and Jen were always available for any questions I had and treated me as a family. I was always informed and guided with the slightest detail you can imagine. I still remember my first call in a parking lot where I was tense about my case. But Peter knew exactly and how to proceed with the problems I was facing. I would definitely recommend him to anyone and everyone. He definitely knows what to do and

My EB1A Green Card was successfully filed and approved by this firm. Peter and his assistant Jen were helpful and accessible. Jen is a sweetheart and answers phone calls. Peter is busy but responds to emails fairly quickly. I applied for my permanent residency in the EB1A category which means I needed a lot of letters and evidence that I was indeed an "alien of extraordinary ability". Peter was very helpful in letting me know what I needed for the filing providing examples and samples to help me put my own letters together. I did do most of my own writing in putting the letters together

I decided to apply for a green card through NIW and my friends, who successfully obtained GC, recommended Peter as an immigration lawyer. Peter and his staff showed themselves as highly motivated and attentive professionals. He helped in completing the forms, proofreaded the recommendations and was easily accessible via email or phone when I had questions. Under his guidance I quickly obtained the green card. I would highly recommend Peter for any immigration matters.

Mr. Messersmith was knowledgeable. He listed out all our options pertaining to my immigration process. He was patient and helpful. Even his paralegal Jen was so attentive and helpful right from the first phone call I made inquiring about them. Price is realistic and absolutely affordable. I am so glad I chose to go to Peter Messersmith.

I engaged Peter Messersmith to apply for my greencard and EAD. I do not recommend him. Here's why:
I am a postdoc research associate and I applied for my greencard through the NIW EB2 category. Peter files both I-140 and I-485 concurrently without telling you the pros and cons. I found out through my own research that it is not recommended for you to file the I-485 if you will be changing status or jobs. USCIS will likely request for further evidence (RFE) if you change jobs. And Peter automatically charges an additional $500 when there is an RFE. Easy money for him. He didn't even tell

Excellent lawyer for Immigration. Peter is not only a great lawyer but a good human being.
I work at Northwestern University. Peter was referred to me by my friend who had excellent success with his GC application. I started my green card journey in August 2012. Peter saw my CV, he told me the loopholes in my CV and directed me what documentation he needs from me to make my case best presentable for USCIS. He specifically told me how the letter of

Have nothing but good things to say about Peter. He was very responsive and helpful. Peter was referred to us by a friend who also had a very positive experience. He helped us put together our application under NIW and saw the whole process to its successful conclusion. From the very beginning we were happy with how he handled our case, so that we referred him to one of our friends who then successfully applied under similar circumstances and also spoke very highly of Peter.

Peter Messersmith and the Messersmith law firm were instrumental in leading our permanent residency application. Peter filled a complete and strong application to USCIS and our green card got approved in 3 months. I would trust the Messersmith law firm with all my family's and friend's USCIS needs. My previous experience with other immigration lawyers are that they are expensive and in many cases do not follow through to the last bit; the service I got from the Messersmith lawfirm was extraordinary.

I had a very good experience working with Mr. Messersmith and his law firm. He handled an immigration case for my wife and me. I met him personally at his office couple of times in Chicago before I sign the contract.
The great thing with Peter is that he responds to your email quick with a short and of course effective answers. I, as a person who is busy with my own work, is a fair request from my attorney to be quick in responding. Peter Messersmith is great at this part.
His assistant is polite, quick and professional. She helped me a lot to understand the process more and she always explain

Update: finally spoke to an individual and received answers. I would like to thank them for eventually communicating. They promised to send the documents the following Monday (this was Tuesday) and we received them the next day (they already posted them without knowing it). I still would ask for references before using this firm.
