I was really Lucky to get a referral to this firm. It's overwhelming when you have to go to court for anything and it's even more to find a lawyer that will represent you like you want.
I am not married but we still fall under the same laws for custody orders and might I mention not being married I feel like allowed the other parent to constantly have me in court. I feel like a Divorce decree would of stopped a lot of the silliness I endured with my child's father, I could be wrong.

Agreed with the other reviews on here about price gouging. After spending over $100k for divorce proceedings, my GF reengaged with this firm for a new motion filed by the other party. The bill for one month's of service was over $6k. The only "work" their associate completed was email and phone call correspondence and "draft" responses which were littered with nearly 100 errors. Just to correct the errors would have taken many more hours. When my GF reached out to the partner assigned to oversee the associate, she was told there were over $2k in charges that were not billed

I had a highly contentious and difficult international relocation case. Kim Anderson won the case. Relocation cases are extremely difficult, particularly international relocation cases. This is the only lawyer in Chicago you will want to talk to on this. I read some of her articles online and consulted with her and I was glad I did. Nobody else could have done what she did. She fought hard against various delays, twists and turns. She is ethical and fights back hard against anyone who is not! I could not have asked for better representation for my divorce than Jessica Sindel. Jessica was hardworking, thorough, intelligent, and practical. She got me everything I wanted with my settlement. I'm a single dad looking for a new attorney and called them. After speaking with their office I waited for the call back which was a half an hour late to start. When we spoke on the phone it sounded like I was interrupting her morning coffee. She didn't seem awake yet, and was not prepared to talk to me at all. Similar interviews with other attorneys they would have usually pulled the case to have a mere understanding of what's going on. This was not the case here and she seemed less than interested in helping me. Money is not the object or a hindrance for me but she didn't

I would not suggest this firm unless you are filthy rich and want to be price gouged. I understand attorneys need to be paid for their services. However spending 18k in a divorce case for 6 months and it is all emails and no results is ludicrous. They do not allow payment plans and will bleed you dry with little results. 3000 a month for their emails and must be paid in full each month or they will send an email they will threaten to with draw from your case. If that's not taking advantage I don't know what is. Their associates are 350 an hour and the partners are 450. Everything is

I worked with Kim for the adoption of my daughter. She was always available and took my calls even late in the night. She fought the birth mother who abandoned my daughter and was able to convince the judge that the bio mom's rights should be terminated. I would highly recommend Kim. She is aggressive and fought for my rights!

I've been a client for about 3 years. I've worked with Kim since they took my case for divorce and custody. Her predictions about what to expect from my ex and opposing are generally spot on.
