360 Martial Arts Academy
We offer safe and effective martial arts training with experienced instructors focused on your goals. Our program combines 4 different styles to help create a versatile and effective martial artist. 360 represents our approach to teaching. Covering the three main areas of self defense; Stand up, Ground and Weapons. Also covering all aspects of martial arts development, specifically the heart, mind and body. Respect, skill, confidence, discipline and concentration are our goals.
Services
When you walk though the doors of 360 Martial Arts you will find a friendly helpful staff that is committed to helping you achieve your goals. Our instructors are trained, respectful and courteous. We provide a positive, encouraging and respectful environment that is conducive to learning. Our goals are to develop well trained martial artists by focusing on the mind and heart as well as the body.
This program is a mixed martial art program for boys and girls. Mixing the styles of Muay Thai Kickboxing, Tae Kwon Do, Brazilian Jiu-JItsu and Kali, our goal is to develop well rounded students with an understanding of the three basic areas of self defense; ground, stand up and weapons. By focusing on respect, goal setting, self discipline, perseverance and concentration students will develop their mind and heart as well as the body.
The curriculum is 90% science (practical self defense) with 10% being an education in the traditional art. We will help you develop real skill through repetition and condition an effective response to a stressful situation. With Martial art skill comes responsibility so there is a focus on respect and overall individual development.
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a martial art and combat sport that focuses on grappling but especially ground fighting. It was derived from the Japanese martial art of KodokanJudo in the early 20th century, which was itself then a recently-developed system (founded in 1882), based on multiple schools (or Ryu) of Japanese jujutsu.
The Little Ninjas program is designed for boys and girls. The classroom goals are to help your child conform to a classroom environment, improve their concentration, understand the concepts of respect and perseverance, develop a foundation to start the Lil' Dragon program while at the same time having FUN!

Fun chill place for karate. Great communication between teachers and students makes it a good quality place. I've been going here for a few years and I love it.

Great ownership and instructors. Have tried other dojos and this one is by far and away leaps and bounds ahead of the other ones.
Can't say enough great things about this school.

Both my son and I take classes here. The instructors are so encouraging, while still pushing you to do better without knowing that you're pushing yourself. Great group. great curriculum, great classes, just fantastic.

My son started here several years ago and earned his black belt. He continues to train here and helps with other classes. Here are some of my observations.

- There was a remarkable difference in self-confidence and assertiveness (not arrogance or bullying) as my son continued to train and learn. There was a significant application from class to other areas, including school and his interactions at home and with friends.

- It's fun to look at videos of him during his early belts and compare with videos of him as a senior red and black belt. He has developed a lot of coordination, balance

We have three kids enrolled at 360 and we are delighted to be part of the family. Respect for others and respect for self are core values of the academy. There is a supportive seriousness with which skill building, belt testing and sparring are conducted. The instructors are of the highest caliber and character and the ratio of teachers to students enables each young student to have a relationship with multiple instructors. We are so glad to have found 360 - I am happy to be contacted to give a more personal reference.

I am impressed with the professionalism and ability of staff to make my son feel comfortable when this is completely new to him. We feel fortunate that Paul has an Academy in our neighborhood, but we would drive the distance to expose our kids to his lessons.

I appreciate the family, supportive atmosphere. While there is a standard curriculum, the program is flexible student specific based upon the individual's strengths and limitations. Brings out the best!!

I will be forever thankful to the caring, professional instructors who help not just teach my daughter basic techniques, but mentor life skills and truly caring about the kids. I wish we had started classes years ago.

Excellent facility. The instructors are kind and patient, but firm. Student to instructor ratio is often 3:1 or even less. A wonderful place, 100% highly recommended. I looked at many schools before deciding on this one and it has well exceeded my expectations.

When we first moved here, I told my 7 year old son he could choose one extracurricular activity. "KARATE!!" he exclaimed enthusiastically.

I made a few calls and chose 360 based on their schedule and the facility itself. They do a couple of one on one lessons before they get you in a group lesson which is cool, a chance to decide if you're going to like it.

The teachers are all so wonderful. It's a very comfortable and friendly atmosphere. In fact, after a couple of months watching my son do his classes, I decided it looked like a lot of fun and I signed up for classes too

I took a kickboxing class here with Linda -- what a workout! She really leads a good class, and is fun and encouraging. The music playlist is really enjoyable. We do a variety of things, from punching and hitting the heavy bag to exercising with weights. She mixes it up every class to keep us from getting bored.

They offer other classes here too, but I haven't been to those. The facility is very clean, and has ample parking. There are tables and stools in the lobby if you have to wait for a loved one to finish class.

Genuine people, genuine staff, and all very talented. There are some great martial arts studio's in the Reno area - but this is one of the best south of town. They truly focus not only on the kicking and punching, but character. If you have children - I'd recommend you check them out.

As a Yelp lurker, I understand why so many reviews for this establishment are filtered: a ton of hugely positive reviews all appearing on or around the same date do certainly arise an air of suspicion. That being said, I am compelled to expose myself as one of 360's biggest fans.

My sons began classes here a couple of months ago after years (literally) of begging me to enroll them in Martial Arts classes. I was concerned about enrolling them in a Cobra Kai style studio, and had gotten very little feedback from friends and acquaintances about any halfway decent academies who dealt well
