More than just classes! Sometimes you need a One on One approach. Our Trainers & Therapists have backgrounds in Anatomy, Physiology and Nutrition. They understand that no two bodies are alike and will work with you to achieve your goals. If you have specific goals, or need help creating those goals, or just appreciate a more 1 on 1 approach to fitness, we take the time to zone in on the most effective way to reach them.
Classes are about 1 hour. The first 10-15 minutes of the class is specifically focused on mobility and physical warm-up of the movements to come. Typically following the warm-up 10-20 minutes are focused on skill acquisition drills and/or Strength and technique building. This is an incredibly important phase.

I have trained with many different trainers and I am thrilled with the results I'm getting with Seth. He eased me back into a routine at the perfect pace (just sore enough!). He is very knowledgeable with an eye for form and his easy-going personality keeps it fun.

After 8 years of solid 5 days a week working out I took a few months off. However, because I’m in my 40s now I know how important it is to stay active, and that’s where Seth came in! After only a few weeks I was back up to where I had been, and I’ve surpassed my weight lifting PRs. Seth combines a mix of lifting and HIIT training, and easily incorporates modifications if I have an injury. He is knowledgeable, and I trust him!

I am primarily a long distance runner who loves the challenge of an occasional obstacle course race. To get strong for obstacle races, I tried working out on my own a few times, took some personal coaching, but had always ended giving up on gym. One of my colleagues who did an obstacle course race said the race was like an extended workout session. It sounded like a good challenge every day. I joined VIRJ Crossfit and never looked back. Before I joined, I had never lifted weights. The coaches taught me everything from basic lifts to Olympic lifts, kept challenging me positively and got me hooked

First, the coaching is excellent. Coaches are focused on form and technique. They are not pushing you to lift more than you are comfortable lifting, or more than you can lift with proper technique. They make sure that you're doing the workout safely so that you can come back tomorrow.
The workouts are well thought-out and varied throughout the week. No muscle group gets ignored. That particular muscle group that you hate working on because it's your weakness? It gets taken care of. All workouts are presented in a tiered format so that members of all

I have been attending VIRJ Crossfit since last February I truly love it. I was initially hesitant about trying Crossfit as everybody warned me about injuries, but I've found if you take it easy to start and have coaches who emphasize form above all (and listen to your body), you'll be fine.
1. The owner Seth, and his employees (in particular Rafael) truly care about you getting the most of your sessions, but also form and injury prevention. This is reflected in the 1-5 level system based on experience, so the classes are scalable to your needs.

I cannot speak highly enough about the trainers, workouts, and community at Virj. I was new to CrossFit when I started at Virj and quickly felt confident I was in for a great change in my workout routine. The trainers take time to make sure form is correct while simultaneously encouraging you to push yourself. The workouts are tough but scalable to your fitness level and best of all they are really fun!
