Dr. Roderick Lucente is originally from the Bay Area having completed his undergraduate studies in the Biological Sciences from the University of California, Davis. He pursued his dental education at Boston University Goldman's School of Dental Medicine. He refined his dental expertise at Interfaith Medical Center Department of Dentistry completing a general practice residency where he returned to teach as an attending.

Everyone there is so nice and helpful. I came in with a concern for my bottom teeth which were turning yellow. I found out it wasn't my teeth (to my relief) but the leftover cement from my braces years prior. The hygienist helped me remove it and my teeth are already look brighter. I felt heard and the staff is very welcoming and takes the time to listen to concerns without quickly rushing to the next patient.

After reading many good reviews, I made an appointment, walked by the place, and had a great feeling. The staff were very friendly, nice and knowledgeable. I got there at 10:30, filled out all “first time” paperwork, got seen, got X-rays and got a cleaning and left the building at 11:40! I Hadn’t been to a dentist in 6 or 7 years, so my plaque was built up and breaking off, which was why I looked for a dentist in the first place…. I thought my tooth broke. I finally found a neighborhood dentist I like and can trust!

Great attention. Super professional and knowledgeable team (Dr. Lucente, of course, but also Alma, Ariel, and Camille). First time in a long while that ultrasound doesn't feel like they are drilling my brain. I'm very glad to finally have found in my adopted city a dental clinic that makes me wish to return.

I've been going to Dr. Lucente for about 7 years now. He is the best! I was dentist hunting for several years before I found his office and I recommend him to everyone I know. Very excellent staff. They are always very kind and attentive. Dr. Lucente's dental work is careful, considered and thorough. When I first went I had a lot of work that needed to be done or fixed from bad dentists previously. Now, everything has been routine and nothing is ever forced on me. Really can't say enough. The best.

Dr. Lucente was such a lucky find. He was professional and kind and very trustworthy. The last dentist I went to lured me in with free laser teeth whitening and then tried to charge me $700 for cracked sealant. Dr. Lucente confirmed there was nothing wrong with the sealant. The technician was also incredibly gentle while taking x-rays. I highly recommend this place.

I just made my first visit to dr lucente's office, and i am very glad to have found this practice.
the front desk person is very helpful and competent. it was easy to make an appointment, and when there was a problem with my insurance, she called me about it, left a message, and then actually did the checking around to resolve the problem herself -- by the time i called back, it had been solved.
i did not have to wait long when i arrived. once i was settled in the treatment room, the X-ray tech came in and very efficiently did the X-rays.

I attended recently for a check-up and cleaning. This was my first attendance at this practice, as I found my last dental hygienist to be quite 'heavy-handed'.I was initially dealt with by the receptionist, who was polite and helpful. The hygienist, the technician that completed the x-rays and the dentist were all very professional. Treatment was great and all my questions were answered. I would definitely recommend this practice to others.

Best experience! From the moment you walk into the moment you leave. The decor design by Dr. Roderick catches your attention and lessens the nerves of being in a dentist office. The staff gets 10 stars from the front desk to the hygienist. From the urban art on the walls to the themed rooms makes you comfortable. The best part is the fact that your scheduled appointment is usually the time you are seen by the doctor. I highly recommend this dentist office, Dr. Roderick is knowledgeable and very experienced.

I am someone who hates going to the dentist, but today, dare I say I actually enjoyed it! The staff here are an absolute delight, and from the greeting to the goodbye, everyone was incredible. The hygienist made me super comfortable while cleaning, and checked in with me every few minutes to make sure I was doing OK. Dr.Lucente is very friendly and communicated clearly about my oral health. I was sent right away when I arrived, and my teeth feel brand new.

Dr. Lucente and his staff made me feel comfortable from the moment I stepped into their office. As someone who is anxious about dentist visits, I noticed the attention to detail in the office. From beautiful art work located all throughout the office to even a small essential oil diffuser tucked away in a corner, the office is very inviting and relaxing. I felt betrayed after my last appointment with Dr. Lucente. The receptionist offered a much cheaper price/fee when I scheduled the appointment but was told when I got there that they would be charging me 50% more because apparently they were no longer under my insurance's network. They should have informed me about this and the change of fees at least the day before and I would have canceled my appointment. I ended up just paying more because I was already there anyways and I needed to get the work done. I've been a patient for years and it's frustrating that this happened. Never

In this time of pandemic, I felt very safe going to their office with the protocols they have in place. And caring. The dentist was amazing. He went out of his way to make sure all my questions were answered and was able to find me great referral for more work that needs to be done. All on a terrible insurance through my union. I found my new dentist so I'm happy

The best dentist experience I've had! I have a really tight schedule so I was only available at a specific time, but the receptionist squeezed me in. So you can imagine I was nervous about the wait. However they were ready for me when I showed up. The xrays were quick. Then the dentist was so efficient! I had absolutely no pain and he fixed my tooth really quickly. Then I had a teeth cleaning by the dental hygienist and I was out the door within an hour and a half. Anywhere else I would have had to return later to see the dentist after the xrays and the teeth cleaning would have been scheduled

Ah...Stop putting tools on female patients' chests? I wrote a review about that but it must have been moved to unrecommended. Long story short, the first few times were fine. Then one day, he started to rest his dental tools on my chest and grabbing them off my chest. That was the last time he saw me. Females and males, please be cautious! Go at your own risk! But honestly, why would you give yourself that headache in addition to the toothache you may have?

Great experience at my last visit (including the fact that I did not have any cavities). Both Dr. Lucente and my hygienist (Alma, I believe...I hope I didn't get it wrong!) were very friendly and very good at what they did. The reception staff were lovely as well, greeting me immediately. The office called to remind me of my appointment, and I had set up the text message reminders, which worked well. I also thoroughly enjoyed the wallpaper in the reception area, which was nice to see, unlike the stereotypically sterile-looking environment of most dental offices I've been to.
