Kerissa is amazing! I am very picky with my hair color and she did such a great job matching it and asking me what I wanted for my cut, I felt so comfortable from the moment I walked in the door. The salon is so clean and the hair washing stations are in a spa type of room, so relaxing! And they give you a hand and arm massage after they wash your hair: I will definitely be coming back and would recommend Kerissa to everyone!

I was recommended this place by a close friend, but will never recommend to anyone. I went in two different times for two different consultations, both of which I paid for, to discuss exactly what I wanted done to my hair. I booked extra time because I have a lot of hair. Normally I am in the chair for 4-5 hours being highlighted, with the help of an assistant. The day of the appointment I was in the chair being highlighted for two hours. Yikes! Sad to say I am back looking for a salon again. I used to go to G Micheal but it is a bit of a drive so when my stylist left I tried something closer to home, but didn't find a good salon. Recently I wanted a completely new style (short but not pixie short) and called for an appointment telling them what I wanted and was flexible in time and price to allow time to get an experienced stylist.

This was my first time visiting the salon! Sean was my stylist and she did a fantastic job. She is super knowledgeable and answered all questions I had. I’m super happy with how my hair turned out. The salon itself is super clean too :) Will definitely be returning!

I actually feel bad that I'm just now writing this. I've been going to Stevie for a year now, and I adore her! Not only is she a great person, but I'm so happy with her work. My hair color is always on point, and my cut looks great. I'm so happy I found Stevie and this salon. I drive a ways to get here, but it's totally worth it!

Something that is hard to find in reviews for salons is whether or not it's LGBTQIA+ friendly. This place was perfect for my wife. I didn't get my hair done, but after seeing my wife's hair I probably should have them correct my at home attempts lol. If you're part of the LGBTQIA+ community (and especially newly out) and are a little scared to get a new cut for your new life, I don't think you have to be scared to come here. We both felt welcomed, were offered drinks while we waited, and the atmosphere is overall just really pleasant from the minute I walked in the door.

AVOID THIS SALON!!! After almost 10 years of going here without a complaint, my family (hubby and 2 kids) and I will NO LONGER return. I receieved an unsatisfactory hair cut and was handled extremely rudely by the manager. After the many years of good service and never having a complaint, I saw told "if didnt like it i could go back to my old stylist from now on." (Manager knew that stylist has moved 2 hours of the away, she no longer works there) I WILL be finding a new salon! Not only will my family not return, but my sister and a couple of friends (who I referred to this salon).

I visited this salon for the first time and Sean was my stylist. I showed her photos and tried explaining what I wanted (but wasn’t great at it). Sean explained to me going blonde was a process and to do it safely would take more than one visit and also showed me some photos of what my hair would potentially look like. She made sure I fully understood and was on board with the plan before she put any product in my hair. I really appreciated her honesty and how thorough she was. June is AMAZING. She is one of the new talent specialists and not only is she sweet, but she is so so good at her job. I booked an appointment with her last minute to fix a bad color job done by someone else. She took her time with me and told me the steps she was going to take to fix my hair. She literally went above and beyond my expectations. I am so so impressed and am IN LOVE with my hair.

Very clean, friendly and professional environment. I had the pleasure of having Hannah for my stylist to assist me in correcting what I had been cutting for several years. The look I was trying to achieve was very much nailed by her after seeing a few Pinterest photos. They have an excellent array of products, recommendations and styling tips to give. I ended up paying $65 for my haircut, shampoo and styling. Well worth it and honestly very reasonably priced. These are professionals, not your SportsClips or SuperCuts "stylists". They are well trained and have to intern there to be selected

We have been looking for a high quality hair salon that can work on biracial hair. I mean its just hair after all. I was so pleased when I came across G Michael Salon. My daughter wanted to change her look for the upcoming school year and wanted to do a bayalage hair coloring. Our stylist Hannah was the perfect match for us. She was able to give my daughter the stylish look without making her look to grown up. I am so pleased that we have finally found our stylist.

UPDATE: After some back and forth, Greg called me and apologized. He said he realized his business wasn't doing all it could to notify clients about their policies. He also refunded my gift card and offered several ways he felt he could make it right. He went above and beyond doing so. I appreciate Greg's phone call and the conversation that we had.

Kerissa. Kerissa. Kerissa. She is the best! She brought my hair back to life and it quite possibly the nicest person! She's very easy to talk to, she's very professional, and her technique and advice is always spot on. I was hooked after the first appointment and have been back two times since. I love Kerissa so much that I booked out my next two appointments already! No one seems to be fake with their compliments which I really appreciate and no one has tried to upsell anything to me. I'm a huge fan of this place!

My initial contact was through Miss Alyssa. She was able to swing a same-day consult on a busy Saturday afternoon: My stylist was Miss Stevie. Although they do not carry the service I was seeking - they still treated me as not only a valued customer ~ but as a genuine person! There was also another staff member rocking a blonde pixie that was also of great assistance. Sad I did not get her name.

Today I got my hair done by Emerson. She was AMAZING! I haven't had my hair colored or have had highlights in 10 years. I came with pictures and she was great working with me to get the look I wanted. For the 2 1/2 hours I was here it was so relaxing. The shampoo room was so relaxing and tranquil. With a scalp massage I almost fell asleep! Emerson also was so helpful in teaching me to style my hair. Definitely worth the money and I will be going back!

I have been going to G Michael Salon for a couple of years, each year I visited 3-4 times. When I moved to Indiana I decided to do changeover and die my natural brown hair. I picked them based off their colored hair Instagram pictures. Overall after trying several of their stylists I found:
- they know how to take care of your hair so it does not get damaged during the hair coloring treatment
- best at coloring blond hair not so much brunettes. In some occasions my hair would look very brassy.
- Some of the stylists are very average but will still charge you a lot of money. There was not a time
