The main objective of this preschool is to help each child to become independent and acquire knowledge and skills. Each child must acquire a rich oral language, organized and understandable by others. The goal is to give the child all the foundation for success in Kindergarten through full French language immersion.
Children will work towards total fluency in French as well as as their overall early childhood development. In full foreign language immersion programs, the regular school curriculum is taught in the immersion language for at least half day and English isn't used at all.

Lucie is a native of Noumea, New Caledonia. She has a B.S. in Biology. She taught elementary and preschool grades for more than ten years in primary Public Schools in New Caledonia and in the United States. She founded French Mornings Preschool because she believes that a bilingual, multicultural education in a nurturing school environment is the best possible educational experience a child can receive.
French Mornings Preschool has been an exceptional preschool experience for our daughter who attended for two years. Maitresse Dufour (the teacher) is everything one could hope for: warm, caring, organized and extremely knowledgeable about child development. Our daughter has thrived in this environment with its combination of play time, circle time and games that have created a stong base for reading and mathmatics skills.

The comprehensive curriculum is based on France's internationally renowned cole maternelle. Set forth by the French Ministry of Education, this program is well known as one of the world's best and gives your child a solid academic foundation while providing a warm, nurturing environment where learning is fun and age appropriate.
We will offer seven weeks of French classes, each with their own theme, arts and crafts, and activities. Some weeks will involve a themed party or field day at the park near the school, dependent on the theme. Food: A snack will be provided daily, but campers will need to bring a nut-free lunch and water bottle each day.
