I've been coming to Salon Macias for over 2 years. Usha is a threading expert and always does my brows to perfection. I have been to many different brow shaping and threading salons in my life and I have never trusted anyone with my brows like I do Usha.
Scheduling is easy, and she always fits me in even if I call last minute.
Can't recommend Usha and Salon Macias enough!!!

I was recommended Salon Macias by a friend who has been getting her brows threaded here for a while now. Usha is amazing, and this is now the only place I'll go to get my brows done. As someone who was getting my brows waxed for years, I was hesitant to get them threaded but Usha does a great job each time. She's so sweet and has helped me figure out a good shape for my brows through each threading session.

I used to go here all the time to get my eyebrows done when they used to be good about picking up the phone and answering calls. I have been calling week after week and leaving a voicemail message to get my eyebrows done. I tried calling and after receiving no answer, I drove 40 minutes to get here because I don't trust anyone else with my eyebrows. But today was definitely the last day, time to find a new place that values customer service.

I've been coming here for over 6 months now and I absolutely love it. Usha is amazing and knows what she's doing when it comes to threading. I always get so many compliments on my brows and refer all my friends here.
I currently am on the monthly unlimited plan and I go in twice a week scheduling an appointment is super easy and convenient.
I've gone to many threading places in the city and this is by far the best and such a pleasant experience.

Rogelio saved me! I came in with incredibly damaged hair from color and bleach and he's bringing me back to life! He has given me guidance to treat and repair my hair and it worked! He won't cut it unless we need to and always provides his opinion on how to best continue to grow out the damage. For example, I'm going to Thailand and will be in a lot of sun so we're waiting to cut until I am back. He's amazing and trustworthy! I plan to do keratin with him in the spring once my hair is ready to take it.

Rogelio is AMAZING! I was in a super duper pinch on the eve of my bday and my hair looked very shabby - i realized I could NOT attend my bday party in that state (oy!). So, I got soooooo lucky and called the salon last minute and Rogelio not only found a way to get me in, but he took the time to talk to me, hear what I was looking for and to really do the best job!!! I am completely blown away by how fab my hair turned out. He is really a miracle

Usha is the BEST threader in all of SF - I can't tell you how many people I've sent her way. She's been threading my eyebrows for over four years and I wouldn't trust anyone else with them - she does such a great job, is super personable and attentive, and can transform anyone's look/brows with her natural eye. So thankful I found her and would recommend to absolutely anyone!!

Hands down to Salon Macias! I'll start with Usha (THREADER), I went in with uneven eyebrows (someone else butchered them) I was afraid that it would happen again... Nope. I went in looking busted (aka angry) and come out looking and feeling like a lady. I have very VERY thick eyebrows - she knows exactly how to shape them. She will not touch them if she feels like you need to let them grow out a little more - she is honest and I appreciate that!

Beyond thrilled I found this salon and more specifically, Rogelio who is a dedicated, detail oriented artist! Arriving earlier in the year, my hair was in desperate need of some TLC. Split ends, dry, and unruly from the amount of heat from my flat iron, Rogelio gave me solid advice and recommended keratin to save me time, and get healthy hair. Months later, I've gotten my second round of keratin (competitive pricing) and my hair has never looked better. I've gotten keratin before at a different location and it was nowhere close to the quality and meticulous job that Rogelio performed

Rogelio is magician with his scissors. I have grown getting my hair cut with scissors but not with a electric machine. Since I have moved here in SF I was trying to find the real hair cut with scissors. I went so many places and some places do but they are uncomfortable with scissors and I didn't get good finishing. For me there is differences getting my hair cut with scissors and a machine. Getting hair cut with scissors is natural and I see it after few weeks when my hair grows. I waited few weeks to see how my hair grows after I got my hair cut with Rogelio. Guess what folks, its so natural

Usha is amazing. She is the only person I trust with my brows, and I've been seeing her since I moved to SF two years ago. The threading process can be quite painful, but she really makes sure you're comfortable and makes it as painless as possible. I really don't know what I would do without her. Brows are $16 and they have a membership program you can do too if you'd like to go get your eyebrows threaded multiple times/month.

Carlos is amazing- I walk in the salon feeling like a 7 and walk out strutting like I'm an 11. I'm not usually one to take selfies but after every visit with Carlos (and Gretchen, colorist) I HAVE to take a selfie. Hence all the car shots. You can see in my hair selfies the ones I can find- my hair evolution from a bob to longer hair (down to the shoulder blades).
You walk in, Carlos is always smiling- I love the early morning appointments, it's peaceful an quiet and you get decent parking

Carlos is amazing! He gives really good haircuts, stops in the middle for a 5-min massage while you get your hair washed, and offers a complimentary trim 3 weeks later (for guys at least)! He is a great dude and nice to the core. Me and a bunch of buddies all have our hair cut by him now. Cannot recommend Carlos and Salon Macias highly enough!

I love Salon Macias!!! Carlos cuts my hair and does an amazing job. I have gone in and told him the length I want my hair to be and asked him to cut it however he wants - it always looks amazing!! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. While the cuts are expensive, they have grown out really nicely which makes it worth it!
