Great Attorney. Professional and caring. We routinely had to ask for information that should have been given to us. Because we had to ask, it cost us everytime we did, and each instance was billed to us. We were given an approximate amount the divorce would cost, it wound up costing 5 times that amount. I understand there were unforeseen costs, but we had the terrible feeling we were nickel and dimed to death. I would still recommend to anyone needing a divorce attorney, because they excell at making you feel good during a time of crisis and that's worth something.

I came to see cole with only a couple of days before having to file a response. I thought, since I was a good parent, I could defend myself. Especially since a legal defense is so costly. I wrote 40+ pages in preparation, citing all of the other parties faults, misdeeds and so forth. About 2am one night reality hit me, I have no clue what to do. Cole was very attentive and concerning about the little money I was able to spend. And also I think the judge made up her mind before we were even seen. However I think he could have pushed harder and did not touch on many issues that I needed to get resolved. Seems to be a little pensive and reluctant to ruffle feathers or be a little demanding. My ex was doing all the demanding.

Mr. Bastain was professional, attentive, and punctual. He was very good at explaining the process and making sure I knew everything I needed, to make good decisions for myself and my family. He did not create false expectations, as so many attorneys do, but was realistic in evaluating things and creating responses. I've been a client of Cole's for a long time. He was referred to me back in 2006 by a family friend. My divorce case unfortunately never seems to end.
