We make a point to try a new restaurant every week & this week we hit a WINNER with The Snow Squall restaurant. What a pleasant surprise / good food / GREAT SERVICE & a 5 star chef & owner. I really can not say enough about the service we received from Danielle. She was amazing. I have a food allergy & she & the chef made sure I was aware of the ingredients in the food. I HIGHLY recommend this spot. Will be back soon.

I ate brunch here for the first time since living in Portland and thoroughly enjoyed my meal and experience. The location is perfect. Right on the marina in Cape Elizabeth. There are options for outdoor and indoor dining and the patio is nice if you want to sit outside. I would love to come back for a dinner in the near future.
Service is a bit slow but I didn't mind and it wasn't unreasonable. It makes for a nice break in the day and if I sit down to a restaurant, I'm not there to rush.
The owner was lovely and accommodating. I will definitely be back. This local business certainly deserves

Restaurant has an interesting interior in need of refinement.
Food was above average
Service was slow and disinterested until it was time for the check and asking to take a plate as I am eating from it....sigh.
Prices for food are fair to high
BUT drinks, Orange juice was 5 dollars a glass and coffee was 4 dollars a mug.
Breakfast for two with coffee and oj wqs 54 dollars.
Not coming back, porthole is better and cheaper.

I searched on Google for a restaurant with clam chowder and possibly Lobster and found The Snow Squall Restaurant which was right across the Casco Bay Bridge in Autumn 2019. This area was residential as well as commercial with plenty of parking for even our 25 foot RV. The food and the services was really great so I give a FIVE star in this review. My husband and I had the chowder and split crab cakes as an appetizer. They have a full bar including local beers which were easy to shop and enjoy. The meal and experience was amazing!

The food...what can I say except it's exquisite. I got the crab encrusted haddock with lemon and spinach rissoto. Let me just say this fish was moist, full of flavor, light, and deliciously decadent. The Chai martini was sweet but very well balanced. I am counting down the minutes til the next time I'm here.
