Twilight Hair Salon

I moved to the Fenway area and was worried I wouldn't be able to find a place to get my hair cut and undercut trimmed - but I was wrong! Molly was an absolute delight to work with and she was able to whip my messy mop and overgrown undercut right back into shape!

I'd like to preface this by saying that I've worked in a salon environment, and I generally do not like the vibe. Twilight, however, is something different ENTIRELY. Everyone here is laid back and wonderful, and, most importantly, super genuine. They also make magic happen with hair.

I've been coming here for about two years, as one of my best friends was a regular with Lex and told me I'd absolutely adore her. Well, she was right!

I've gotten my hair cut twice with Molly and have been extremely happy both times. She takes the time to listen and work with me - I never feel rushed, Molly genuinely cares about her clients. I've also gotten my hair colored with Rachel. I went to Rachel after getting my hair colored by someone else and being extremely unhappy with the results. Rachel not only made by hair look fantastic, but did so with the challenging mess I came in with. Overall very happy with Twilight!

I've followed stylist Sarah around the state because after my first cut from her, I couldn't go to anyone else! Since then, I've had my hair long, short, colored purple, blue, orange, done ombre, balayage, single process, double process... you name it. Wow. What an amazing experience! The girls are so welcoming and the overall environment is great. I got my haircut by Alexis who is a wizard with curly hair. The attention the stylists give to their clients is above and beyond. Alexis took her time with my hair and made sure I was happy with the length. This is the first time I walk out of a haircut with absolutely no regrets or complaints. Will definitely be coming back!

Molly was my hair stylist, and she was very kind and professional! She was finishing up someone before me, but saw me just a few minutes after my appointment time. She had very good insight on what to do with my hair (I'd come in to fix up my hair from growing out what was previously an undercut), and showed me what she planned to do before she did it. I'm really happy with the result!

I'm sorry to say it's taken me four years to write a Yelp review for one of my favorite places on Earth, but I'm doing it now. Twilight isn't just another salon, it's a refuge. I came in here for the first time as an insecure 21 year old looking to change up her hair. Alexis, the rockstar that she is, gave me the platinum blonde Kahleesi style I was looking for, and maintained it beautifully and healthily (if that's a word) for three years. I literally cried when I got home from the salon. They did such a terrible dye job that I don't want to go out in public without a hat. Will be getting it fixed elsewhere asap!

Everyone was incredibly nice and was very accommodating when I walked in asking about a color correction from a dye job I got elsewhere. Lex did an awesome job fixing my hair and was very friendly. 10/10 will be going back.

Bethany is absolutely magic. I stupidly box-dyed my hair bright purple and instantly regretted it...and thought I'd be stuck with it forever. But thanks to her, I have a natural hair color again! Everyone here is so nice, and the salon's hours are great for people like me who can't get in until after work in the evening.

I always go to Bethany to trim my hair (not for a buzz cut as so many barber shops do), and she invariably does an excellent job. The staff here are very skilled, and the salon in general has a relaxing vibe that is always a relief to visit after a hectic day. I make a habit of recommending this salon to friends and colleagues!

So, I've been to Twilight Hair Salon twice. The first time I went, I got a single process color that was $80 (totally reasonable). The second time, I got the same single process color and a cut and was charged $140, which seemed quite high, in my opinion.

Then, something weird happened. During my second visit, before we actually started working on my hair, I had a conversation with my stylist about how my hair was looking really dark. It was supposed to be a darker brown, but it was looking black-brown to me. I was assured by my stylist that it was just looking dark because of the low lighting

Was looking for a place in Boston to get my hair done since I moved and Twilight is officially my new place! Went for my first single-process dye and cut with Ashley and could not be happier with my new hair!!! The salon has a fun vibe and it's in a good location. I would highly recommend Ashley! She is funny, easy to talk to, and very skilled at cuts/colors. I got exactly what I wanted!

If you're looking for a high-quality, affordable hair salon, definitely go to Twilight!

New to Boston, I have been hesitant to find a hair salon. I went in to Twilight and I experienced amazing hospitality by Rachel and Bethany. Bethany did a front hair streak and haircut and it is just what I was looking for. I can happily say I found my Boston hair salon.

I have been a client of Ashley M for many years and I have had the best of the best in terms of color, cut, treatments, and styling. Ashley stays current with classes, offers new insights in products, and is hilariously funny. She gives great service, is fast but takes the time to engage with her clients, and makes each visit fun and relaxing. I make the trek to Twilight in Boston every five weeks for a color and a cut, and every 3-6 months for the BEST BRAZILIAN BLOW OUT ( I live in Billerica).

Twilight is a beautiful salon on Beacon St, with extended hours. Parking is easy, on the street

Sorry, wouldn't go back. I was quoted one price and charged another. When I called to ask why, I was told I could be refunded "next time I come in". Doubtful.

The stylists are nice enough, but there's something to be said for honest business.

Love love love this place! I had a pretty bad experience at another salon and came here on a friends recommendation and had an appointment with Alexis! She is great, and fixed as best she could the mess the previous stylist created, I even scheduled a Brazilian blow out for a couple days after my cut, and it was awesome! I was literally petting my hair on the T home and didn't stop for 2 days :) I travel to Boston often and will definitely make a point to come here again! Thank You Alexis!

I've had my hair cut and colored by Alexis. She's great! Really knowledgeable about hair dye and up-keep of the color. She also gave the best haircut! The salon itself is very cute too - love their interior decorations. I've always had a good experience here.

I have never encountered a friendlier staff or more welcoming salon environment. I was a little worried about damaging my hair with color due to negative past experiences at other salons, but my hair feels softer and healthier since my time in Alexis' chair. Alexis is a skilled stylist who's super easy to talk to, and I am over the moon with the results of my visit. I will definitely be going back to see her from now on, and I'll be recommending Twilight Hair to everyone I know.

Kim is my stylist and she is great. She has been helping me go from brown to white-blonde hair. It has taken a few sessions because my hair had been colored brown, and she has been very careful about not frying it. They use olaplex, and my hair is so healthy considering how much we have bleached it. The prices are very fair compared to other Boston hair salons.
Also the rest of the ladies who work there are silly, and the shop is a welcoming and relaxed environment.

This was my go-to salon when I lived in Brookline. I moved to the other side of Boston this past fall and tried to find another salon I liked as much. Nope, couldn't do it. I still happily make the trek to Twilight when I need a haircut.

Firstly, the salon is so laid-back and charming. I walk in and feel so at home. There's a "salounge" in the back with tea, snacks, magazines, and comfy chairs!

Secondly, the salon is SHOCKINGLY inexpensive. $38 for a wash/cut/dry? A good one?! In Brookline?!?! Yes, yes, and yes.

I have had 3 brazilian blow outs from here (and one somewhere else) and each has been great. Sara does a great job at it and is very friendly.
I had her cut my hair last time and it was pretty good for a first time cut. I am making an appointment for my 4th BBO and will also be trying another hair cut. Overall, I like coming here and working with Sara.
