Last December 2020 I visited Monaco Hair salon on west bay to bay Blvd to talk about having extensions applied for my wedding, well that turned into now a year ongoing addiction! I wouldn’t go anywhere else! Exceptional people and exceptional services. Krista does my hand tied extensions and I absolutely love them. She is such a professional and always makes me feel like a star. She and Jordan make sure my hair is nothing less than perfect. Always a wonderful experience. MELISSA. That’s all I have to say. She colors my hair and keeps my blonde looking amazing. While my hair has never looked so good, the experience at the salon is worth it in itself. Laura my stylist I fly from NYC to have only her do my hair. As a Top Model I’m so picky about my hair… She is truly an asset & The staff at Bay to Bay as well as Dale Mabry location always amazing & professional.. I get my hand tied extensions done at Monaco, and I absolutely adore this place! The location is great and convenient, and the service is unparalleled. I go to Krista for the actual extensions, and Jordan is heavily involved in helping each time and they are both fantastic. Funny, easy to talk to, and make the long experience fun. The prices are reasonable for this type of service. You have to remember hand tied extensions are a pricey product in general and you absolutely get what you pay for here. Yikes! Make sure you read what this salon want you to sign before your appointment. They want to be free from ABSOLUTELY all responsibility if something were to happen to your hair. The policy says that they will not be held liable against any physical or psychological injuries. Basically, they can burn your hair, and you won't be able to hold that against them. They refused to provide me service because I did not sign this. There is a reason these people are trying to protect themselves. And it's the only salon in Tampa that does this. Sketchy.

To start, my partial highlights were over processed so it was not the same as the first visit; bangs were trimmed with just a straight cut across the forehead at a length much shorter than I prefer instead of the "fancy" fringe cut I got the first time. Then after I cut my feet on the uncovered metal footrest on the stool, the girl at the counter checking me out hands me a product sample and doesn't even know what it does

Today, I The most amazing experience at Monaco Salon with KLODJANAA AND....she was amazing!! I wanted a Full highlight. Klodjanaa took the time to listen to what I liked/wanted and spent her time making sure I was going to get just that. Gave me her professional advice and got right to work! By the way she also went above and beyond and came in on her day off just to accommodate me!! She exceeded my expectations! Dillian K is a GOD!! I have very short white blonde ( and very damaged- due to at home bleaching done by myself) and missed my length but didn't want to give up that color I tried so hard to get. I've never had hand toe sew in's and I was nervous. I've seen girls with extensions that were obvious and looked awful.. I left his salon with that Beyoncé attitude.. Lauren is A M A Z I N G. I've been to her 3 times now and I've never loved a stylist more! I'm naturally dark dirty blonde and she always make me blonde and beautiful. She did a shadow root and a toner as well and I've gotten so many compliments on it! She's thorough, down to earth, easy to talk to, overall makes you feel very welcome. I'd recommend her to anybody. For YEARS I've been flying from Los Angeles to Tampa to see Krista. Clearly there's a plethora of amazing salons & stylists in LA so that should speak volumes about how exceptional this salon is. I've broken down & tried other extension stylists in LA to reduce my travel but truly noone compares and Krista is ALWAYS my first choice and who I go back to.

Update on my previous review: I started off with brown/black hair and Marissa help me get to the blonde I want!! I'm so happy I've finally found someone I can trust with my hair and know it will look amazing. This time I got foils and extensions and my hair still feels and looks healthy even after several sessions of lightening it. I'm beyond happy with it and will be coming back many times again
