Lynn R. Walker, open the doors to his first funeral home in 1952 because he had a passion for honoring the deceased, supporting the bereaved & celebrating life. Lynn's goal was to provide funeral services that would help friends, families, communities, find peace and comfort after the passing of loved one.

Services
At the end of WWII, Lynn R. Walker left the United States Air Force with a desire to join the funeral industry. During his service, he had discovered his passion for honoring the deceased and for supporting the bereaved. His goal was to create funeral services that would help families find peace and comfort at the difficult time of death.
The following is a list of choices which represent the cost of our services. They may or may not include the casket or container required for visitation or viewing, burial, entombment or cremation. This option is designed for families that want a Traditional Funeral Service with a prior Visitation, directed by our professional staff.
All we need to do is say the word "funeral" and within microseconds, you have an image in your mind of what a funeral looks like. This mental image comes from many sources: the geographical place, culture and society in which we live; our faith; our life experience.

A funeral service, whether traditional or more modern (memorial service or celebration-of-life), has two functions: to acknowledge the death and lifetime achievements of an individual and to bring grieving family members and friends together in support of one another during this difficult time. We recently used their services for my father's funeral and burial and received such great sensitive care that I would recommend this establishment to anyone going through this difficult process. You don't really live life full of experience where you are planning and conducting funerals, attending to the post-death items that need to be done, etc. When my father passed away recently I needed to run things relating to his funeral and there were a number of decisions to make and things to do that you really don't think about until you're in the middle of it. The people at Walker Sanderson were great at educating me and helping me all along the way. They also did it in a way where you didn't feel like they were just doing their job. Tiffany, Elizabeth, and Debbie made the planning for my Mother’s funeral so smooth, they relieved us of all the stress and did all the hard work for us that allowed us to mourn with our family. They did the funeral programs, death certificates, slide show, set up the chairs to where my family came and we had our program and it was executed so beautifully and everything was organized. The ladies even had water bottles and Kleenex ready for us which helped soo much. Loved the fact that those who couldn’t make it were able to view the services livestream. Tiffany and the staff will forever hold

Dealing with the death of a loved one is always hard. Having support concerning burial is one of those things which is greatly appreciated. Walker Sanderson Funeral home, specifically (Jason) made it much easier to get through a tough time. Their attention to detail was noticed and made final arrangements much easier to deal with. Not being to familiar with these kind of services and how other funeral companies provide similar services, I can only say that our families experience was as good as it could be. I highly recommend Walker Sanderson Funeral home for these kind of services.

Wife passed from cancer while being treated by our specialist in Cleveland, OH. Working with Walker Sanderson Funeral Home, they were able to manage all the logistics and admin work for transporting the body back to Utah seamlessly. Allowing me to focus on as much quality time with my family as possible.

Wade and his staff took such great care of our father Russell Cottrell in January and unfortunately very unexpectedly we needed their services for my brother James Cottrell in August of this year. They were so kind and respectful to our family and to our brother and the way they brought him home to us. Wade and his son personally went and picked up James from the airport and and helped us with the flight from Houston.
