Established in 1888, Sundberg-Olpin & Wheeler Mortuary has served Utah County through decades of growth and change. Our son James (14) passed away from an accident on his go kart. When making arrangments and considering a mortuary that we could entrust our son's body to, we had a real struggle. We were not prepared to lose a child and had never even thought about a mortuary to take care of any of our family members.

During one of the hardest times in our lives, the people at Sundberg-Olpin were the most patient, attentive, and accommodating. They listened to us. And because they listened, they were able to help our family have a beautiful experience. We didn't feel any sales pressure. When we were unsure about anything, they provided information to help us make decisions that were best for our family. Their follow-up after the funeral was also appreciated.

We are so appreciative of their amazing work! Curtis and all the staff are extremely nice and caring during a difficult time. My husband looked absolutely amazing after the embalming process and continued to look amazing even when he was buried! My husband did not want a lot of make up, but they did an excellent job at making him look like himself. I could never say thank you enough to Sundberg-Olpin! I would recommend them to anyone and everyone!! ❤️

The service for my Grandmother's funeral was exactly what our family needed. Their sense of professionalism is outstanding. The building was really nice. We were so attended to it felt like we were at our wedding. As morbid as this might sound we were so impressed we've started thinking about our own funeral arrangements.

Best funeral home to work with. They accommodated everything that we wanted and they helped us send off our Grandmother 15 years ago and Father 2 mos ago the way we wanted. My sister had a request for a custom insert 48 hours before the funeral and they made it happen. I will always be grateful to this funeral home and their wonderful service!

First blush was terrific! The Funeral Director, Curtis, and his wife April put my family at ease immediately. We felt that our confidence in them was well placed. The funeral home facility is excellent and beautifully arranged. There are places for privacy as well as areas for gatherings, all perfectly set-up and furnished very appropriately. We are very pleased with our decision to have our Mother's memorial services held there.
