Shizuo Imaizumi Sensei studied directly under the founder of Aikido, Morihei Ueshiba. He subsequently taught for the Ki Society led by Koichi Tohei. Today, he blends these styles into his own take on the art, drawing from his 50-plus years of practicing Aikido. Learn techniques that are not practiced in other dojos, like in-depth training with the wooden sword (bokken) and wooden staff (jo).

Shizuo Imaizumi Sensei studied directly under the founder of aikido, Morihei Ueshiba, cumulating more than 50 years of practice. Not only his knowledge is without comparison, but he's also approachable and cares a lot. I really enjoy the welcoming community of practitioners, they are all super friendly, humble despite their amazing skills, and always willing to help. Along with aikido, Sensei teaches bokken and jo (wooden sword and staff).
