Our business takes quality and customer service seriously. As a NAPA AutoCare Center, we follow a strict Code of Ethics so customers will know up front what to expect. Perform high-quality diagnostic and repair services at a fair price, using quality NAPA parts. Alex Bertolotto opened Northwest Auto Center in 2002 and has been in the trade as a mechanic since the age of 13 years old, in the summer of 1976.
I've been a long time customer here at NW Auto Center (10 years) and will continue to bring my truck here for it's needs. Alex and his team are mechanics you can trust to repair it correctly the first time and provide helpful preventative maintenance suggestions but never be pushy for more business.

We have used Northwest Auto for our vehicles for over 20 years. We have always felt they have been professional and fair with our vehicles. TheIr prices are reasonable and they are honest. Their customer service is also wonderful. This last visit we took in one of our older cars that was having some issues and we were hoping to get the car done in time for our son to take a trip. They overnighted the necessary parts and had our car back to us in record time. We really appreciate their efforts to accommodate our needs, not just this time, but for all their years caring for our vehicles. Highly recommend

Alex and the amazing team at Northwest Auto helped convert my 1968 Mustang into a vicious V8 machine after the original straight 6 engine threw a rod in December of 2018. They did an amazing job, and my Mustang is now basically a new car, but not just a new car, a new, upgraded, high-power beast! Thank you all again for the amazing job on this restoration/full conversion, your hard work and skill is always appreciated, and me and my family will continue to be loyal customers for years to come! My Toyota Camry headlight is not working. I walked in without appointment. Bob is a super nice guy and the staff is super friendly. They asked me just to buy a new low beam bulb and changed it for free for me. Also helped me to snap my fog light in the right place. This is honest and best business I have even received. I wish I know this place earlier.

The service was great! I called on a Thursday and requested that I get my car in on the following Tuesday for an oil change and check-up. I took my car in on Tuesday, they did everything and I had my car back that afternoon. They were quick and friendly, and they were honest about what my car needed - which happened to be just an oil change. They sent me with the results of the report which was easy to read (unlike other mechanics I've been to) and I was on my way. Affordable, kind and speedy.

My wife and I moved to the Bellevue area about a year ago, and finding a new mechanic, one who's trustworthy and clear and helpful, can be tricky. But every time we take our cars into NorthWest Auto Center the guys do an amazing job. Super cool, straightforward, very fair prices, nothing iffy. I think Bob is the main guy and he's awesome. I'd recommend them to anyone in the area.

The level of care and detail NW Auto takes every time I use them is impressive. This is by far the best experience I have ever had with an automotive shop. I liked my shop before and NW Auto is superior in every way. You can always count on Alex to track down a difficult problem — from a curious trouble light to a disturbing sound to a 'wrong feeling' on a standard manoeuvre — fix it expediently and reasonably, and charge you minimally. Such a refreshing change from chain shops that check this, analyze that, replace these, try those, and end up draining your account over days without really fixing the issue. Just bring it to Alex first, because you'll eventually have to anyway.

Highly recommend. Brought in my old truck, and they were able to fix it up and make rational recommendations about future service, in light of the age and condition of the vehicle. The service at NW Auto Center makes me feel like I finally have a mechanic that is trustworthy. Alex and his staff are looking out for my best interest. They even drive you to and from work while your car is being worked on! I have a hybrid car, and they work on those too! Such fantastic service! Go see them for your car’s health.

Avoid avoid avoid!!! Stopped in here this morning to request a diagnostic on my check engine light because the car did not pass wa st emissions. We already know what the problem is. He said immediately without asking further questions or even looking at my vehicle "it will be $150 for the diagnostic" hmmm that's convenient considering that WA St requires a minimum of $150 of work to be done to get an emissions waiver. Seeing below from other reviews that a diagnostic was around $35 I know this guy thought I was a sucker. I called him out and said that seems very high compared to

I called Northwest Auto Center last minute on a Saturday morning 12.27.14 to get front and rear brake pads inspected and replaced on my 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe.
Lori works the front desk, billing, scheduling and is friendly and courteous.
The tech, Alex is quiet yet friendly and knowledgeable.

BY FAR the best auto place west of Florida (where my brother has his auto repair shop). Alex is amazing. Direct, friendly, a car genius, and genuinely good guy. The support staff is knowledgeable and efficient. I guess the waiting area could be cozier, but I'm reaching here. It's a fantastic auto repair place and I have no intention to ever go anywhere else.

Quality repair shop. The guys are very knowledgeable about their work, provide excellent estimates, and don't try to push unnecessary repairs. The turnaround times are fast. The quality of repairs is good - I've had multiple jobs done on my car over the last 7 years and it's holding up just fine. They also provide a shuttle service which makes this a very convenient option if you work nearby.
