We have lived in windgate for 6 months and we have not had a good experience. When we moved in there was wood literally taped to our island, the carpets were wet, and there were random paint marks everywhere. We found quickly that one of our 4 burners worked, and neither did our dishwasher. Our burners got "fixed" but never really worked again, and our dishwasher never cleaned our dishes and we had to hand wash. We also came into the apartments knowing we would need to have a 6 month lease and when I called to talk about our lease end they had messed up our lease agreement and had changed

Where do I begin... the first 2 months we didn't have Wifi and management kept promising to get it fixed, which when they finally did, they left a huge hole in the wall which got fixed 12 months later.
Our A/C and heater never worked when we wanted it to because it kept breaking. it was 90 degrees in our apartment for weeks.
Water started dripping from the ceiling and started causing the ceiling to cave in and management left it that way for 9 months and just put a board over it to keep it from caving in. Pretty sure there was mold growing as well.
German roaches moved in as well and we were

The manager in the office is very knowledgeable! She helped me with all 100 questions I had and was even able to take me on a tour of one of these beautiful units. It was absolutely ready for move in. Maintence happened to be around and they were super friendly as well. Iām moving here from colorado and Jessica definitely made that seem very easy and smooth.

I have mixed feelings of Windgate. For one, the location is nice. Quiet and centrally located to a lot.
However, the renovations they've done are cheap. The kitchen counter tops were simply painted to look nice, but because they weren't stone you could put anything hot on them. The 2 years we lived here, we had 2 water heaters flood our apartment (and the floor drain wasn't installed properly so the water flooded because it couldn't drain). They reimbursed us for 5 new towels, which I appreciate. However, all of our stuff had gotten wet in that closet too. We had the ceiling leak in from the above

When we first were moving in we were excited. It seemed like a nice place and the price was great. Upon signing the paperwork they mentioned an extra $400 dollars in fees, but we thought we like the place so we signed the papers anyway. They promised us several things before we moved in, none of the promises were met at that time and we had to badger the management for months to get anything done. We had several large maintenance issues in just the first few months including leaky sinks and leaky water heaters, of which we cleaned up after the maintenance man. Windgate is an awesome place to live. We pay a higher rent because our unit is renovated with brand new appliances, and it is so worth it. There was some cleaning that was left to us before we moved in, but it was easy vacuuming/sweeping. The leasing office staff are often difficult to reach (the office hours on their door may not be correct) but they are helpful and extremely understanding. The complex is non-smoking, however there are tenants that do smoke on their patios throughout the day/night. There have been very minimal maintenance issues which was surprising since the building is so old

I lived at the Windgate Apartments from September 1997 to August 1998 and also most recently from October 2016 to April 2018. The reason I came back a second time is because after being away from Utah for so many years, after finally coming back I remembered how nice the Windgate Apartments were the first time I lived there.
The current management under Jen is great and so is the maintenance. They are always ready to help with anything and do it with a great attitude.
I would certainly recommend to anyone to live at Windgate if they are looking for an apartment. Also, the Windgate apartments

I have lived at Windgate for over 3 years and love it here. Jen is such a great manager, she is always trying to do things to make the residents living here experience fun and happy. When i need something from her she does it immediately. Maintenance it top notch also - they stay on top of things and when a problem arises they are on it right away. I cant say enough about Windgate, i love living here.
