VOM has been our home for the last 2.5 years and we enjoy living here. Good neighbors and convenient location. The management has been helpful and responsive, and the maintenance staff does an excellent job. From replacing a hot water heater to cleaning up the common areas the maintenance staff goes above and beyond. We really appreciate them going the extra mile when needed.

I have seen so many reviews talking about getting in touch with the office/miscommunication and many other problems. I called in, as well as emailed for availability, pricing and a date to do a tour for a 2 bedroom 2 bath.
Had a friend call in this morning and they stated they would hold the unit I believe it was the Park Place one I could be incorrect, it was next to St James & St Charles. Stating that they would do a tour in regarding one. The website also states that it is available and able for a tour.
It's very frustrating to find that none of these are available, but are on the website

We lived here for almost two years and really enjoyed it! When we were searching for apartments, the Village on Main was a great balance of space and affordability. It is in a great location; there is a fantastic and well-priced gym on the first floor, shopping is just down the street, and it is tucked against a quiet neighborhood. The building is secure and we really felt safe at all times living here. The amenities are nice as well!

I haven't seen an up-to-date review on this apartment complex. As we have just moved out I thought I would give an update. When we first moved in we were excited and happy to be here. It seemed nice when we toured and management made us feel welcome. Flash forward a couple of months and we quickly found out that the apartment was not in good shape. The sinks never drained properly, nor did the bathtubs. The dishwasher ALWAYS left our dishes dirty, there were leaks, the garbage disposal always sounded like there was something metal caught in it, etc. Whenever we made a maintenance request we faced

The apartments and the staff are very nice, however, the neighbors are not, one of the neighbors faultily accused us of something that we did not do, and I am honestly scared that there is someone out there hate us or does not like us because we are brown, and my parents are elders so I am worried about them what else might they do..

I lived in the townhomes for just under 2 years and it was the worst experience EVER!!! Management there is HORRIBLE!!! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND SHADY AS HELL!!!.. We had so many issues and problems since moving in with certain things that needed to be fixed and or replaced but it was like pulling teeth to get them to simply respond, let alone send maintenance over. When we moved in, carpets were dirty, blinds broken, and vents dangling down from the ceiling, bathroom vanity pieces peeling back from the wall/mirror due to water damage and just little things missing throughout the apartment, such

I’ve been living at Village on main for a couple of Years. I love it here, staff is always available and willing to resolve any concern I have, including maintenance issues. Neighbors are great! People are friendly and grounds are always well kept. I would highly recommend it here if you are looking to rent in the area.

I would like to thank the Management Team at The Village on Main Apts for a great experience. I recently moved out after living here for almost 6 years and I was always happy with living here. The apartment was cute, security was great and amenities were awesome and super convenient. If I ever had a maintenance issue it was handled quickly and professionally. The office staff was always super friendly and willing to help/listen and they really cared. I would recommend this complex to anyone.

We’ve been here for five months now and we’re just talking yesterday about how we love the security, the area, and how responsive and helpful the office staff is. They were the best when we moved in and have continued that, it wasn’t just a sale! They always say hi and follow up personally. Their online website is awesome too, makes paying rent and communicating with them pretty easy! It’s quiet and safe, perfect place!

I love how the building is secure at night and you need a card ( like a hotel) to gain access. Very safe!! My elderly mother visited me from time to time and with being on the road with my job...it was nice knowing that she was safe and if she needed anything, the staff was there to help. I have lived in many apartments over the years because of my job and this one is by far one of my favorites! I love it here at Village on Main Street. The staff is always friendly and they sincerely care about the residents. They have large and spacious bathrooms and walk in closets and stay super quiet!! They

DO NOT RENT HERE. In the four months I have lived here, I have had countless problems including dishwasher leaks, toilet malfunctions, poor water pressure, hard water, heating problems, and multiple hot water heater issues. In total we have spent somewhere around a week without hot water. Some of these issues are normal when you rent, but what is not normal is getting poisoned by carbon monoxide. You heard that right. My apartment had carbon monoxide leaks that required me to call the fire department twice within the four months of living here. My self bought detector was reading the CO at 372

The only reason this place gets one star would be that (depending on what side you live on) it's kept cleaner than other buildings I've seen. When we moved in, the leasing agent told us we were getting a deal on rent because ever so often, we'd be able to hear faint music from the gym in the earlier day. This was entirely false. If you happen to live on the north side where the gym is, you'll hear movies and music begin to play at 3am almost every morning and the music and bass will rattle your apartment until about 11pm. If I could give this place zero stars I would. We have had nothing but trouble with this place. Management is negligent and lazy and our cries fall on deaf ears. It has taken 3 days of us calling to get a maintenance guy out to fix our heater and water heater. This is the middle of winter! We've had so many problems with maintenance that I can't even list them all. On top of that, they started making us pay for water and suddenly started tacking on a "property tax" to our rent. Village on Main Street has been hands-down the best apartment building I've ever lived in. The last place I lived, I dreaded talking to the front office staff, but everybody here is very friendly and respectful of my input. The building is relatively new, so I didn't have a lot of maintenance requests in the year I lived here, but when I did have maintenance issues, the turnaround was never more than 48 hours, and the maintenance staff is courteous and efficient.
