The Spanish Academy
We love getting to know our prospective parents! Come see for yourself what we are doing in the classroom and allow us to introduce ourselves and our program in person. Please schedule a tour! The Spanish Academy is a total immersion preschool where children, age 12 months to 10 years, can learn Spanish while having FUN!

The classes introduce Spanish using the total immersion method; a proven teaching method used for many years by teachers and language experts. The evidence and research of the benefits of bilingualism are overwhelming. Not only will your child enjoy a lifelong love of language, but the effects on their brain are invaluable.
Services
The Spanish Academy opened in 2001, and we teach Spanish to children ages 12 months - 10 years and adults. The Spanish Academy is Atlanta's first Spanish preschool & kindergarten. We offer a Total Immersion Preschool and bilingual Kindergarten with an excellent academic curriculum with a low student to teacher ratio.
Please visit these links for recent press on The Spanish Academy & interesting articles and videos on raising bilingual children! While foreign language requirements have long been a core requirement for high school graduation -- second language classes at an earlier age would improve overall fluency for most students.
All research concludes that learning multiple languages does not interfere and in most cases, learning another language enhances a child's English ability. Children can learn much about English by learning the structure of other languages. Common vocabulary also helps children learn the meaning of new words in English.
The Spanish Academy is a Spanish Immersion Preschool that provides an outstanding curriculum with a high level of academic excellence. Our curriculum is a discovery-based learning experience that gives each child the opportunity to move through designed learning centers at his/her ability and interest.
The Spanish Academy offers an innovative, bilingual Kindergarten curriculum with a high level of academic excellence and a low student to teacher ratio. The Kindergarten program is our only bilingual program, and the class alternates Spanish and English days. The children have both Spanish and English curriculums.

We’ve sent our kids to preschool and kindergarten at The Spanish Academy for 6 years now. We have loved every year! The teachers are so caring, and the academic standards are excellent! Their summer camps are lots of fun for the kids too, and we always enjoy signing up. We are not native Spanish speakers at home so this has been a great way to give my kids early exposure to another language.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. My child has been going here now almost 2 years and absolutely love it. We do not speak Spanish at home but they have adjusted so well. The teachers and administration here is beyond incredible. They treat these kids like their own, are wonderful in communicating with the parents, and create such a warm environment for our kids. Would recommend them to anyone thinking about an immersion preschool.

I have put 2 boys in this school and plan to put 1 more. The teachers are wonderful and caring. The kids love to play and learn as they play. Pre Covid they have lots of wonderful opportunities for parent participation. Post Covid you can participate but’s it’s limited and virtual. Wonderful school hands down!

This is our second year at the school and the programs are amazing the teacher are incredible!
We are so happy that we have our daughter at the school she loves it. She’s only 3 and she can’t get enough, she talks about being a teacher and the fun she has during school. She super excited to go school in the morning. During this time TSA community and staff are doing an extraordinary job to keep the kids and families safe. Highly recommended school programs for 18 months till kindergarten. Can’t say enough great things about TSA! Just wish it when beyond kindergarten. We love the small ratio

We were fortunate to have found TSA for our daughter. She's flourished under the exceptional care of her teachers Erika & Cristina for the 3 year old program. The teachers provide a high STEAM environment while keeping to a Montessori approach in addition to their dual language program.
Veronica and the teachers really make you feel like family. Teachers are responsive and communicate well on how your child is learning academically and socially.
We love the compassion and consistency TSA provides.
I highly recommend this school if you are looking for exceptional school, community, and family

My son loves The Spanish Academy. We started for the toddler year at the Buckhead location and transferred to the Suwanee location when we moved. TSA is wonderful, the teachers are caring and engaging, the children love school. We are native English speakers with NO Spanish speakers at home. My son has no problem academically and now knows Spanish! We cannot recommend this program enough.

I have had the pleasure of sending both my kids to The Spanish Academy at East Cobb since they were 18 months old. That was seven years ago! The teachers here are wonderful, caring and just simply amazing. I always felt my kids were safe and happy with them, like they were with family. Both of my children graduated from the school's Kindergarten program prepared and equipped to succeed in public schools. I am so glad I found them when I did and that I was able to give my children just wonderful preschool years with such beautiful and amazing teachers. I am sad our experience is over but

We can't say enough positive things about this school. Our son started by going to the summer camp and then attending regular school days. The school is very interactive and has tons of events for parents and students to be involved. The director is very on top of everything and always accessible which is a plus in our book. Bonus our son has started using Spanish at home and around others which is impressive. The teachers by far are the best though we cannot say enough about how kind and patient they are and have been with our son. We highly recommend this plan to anyone who is looking to

We have both of our sons here and LOVE IT! The teachers are wonderful. Our oldest has been there for three years now and every year I think the teachers could not possibly be as good as the year before and they surprise me every august. It is fantastic ...and a great way to raise a bilingual child as well.

In the past 2 years, the owner of the school has made multiple attempts to get me to take down or modify my previous review; the last few bordered on bullying. Luckily I'm really good at ignoring these, and I am just getting around to responding to his post (I'm a busy working mom).
Will - I am entitled to my opinion. Your business seems to be doing great based on how many locations I see opening up within churches in Atlanta. But I think I represented it accurately in that it is more of a mom's morning out program vs. an actual school. I took my own advice and hired a Venezuelan

The Spanish Academy is an amazing preschool and community. DeShea Brooks, who runs the school is a professional, compassionate, intelligent and personable woman. She is a mother of 3 young children, all of which have either graduated or presently attend the school. DeShea knows every family by name and is engaged in each child's experience during their time at TSA. My two daughters attend this school at the Buckhead Campus, a three year old and a Kindergartener. We are very pleased with the education they are receiving but equally important we are beyond impressed with the compassionate

I am very happy with this school. I'm a native Spanish speaker but my husband isn't, so I wanted our son to have more exposure to Spanish so that he can build on what I teach him and practice with others outside the home. I like that the school is small so there's plenty of attention for each child. I also like that the teachers are very affectionate and energetic. My son really loves to go to preschool and he loves his teachers, especially Sra. Natalia. I'm impressed to see how he's learning and speaking more Spanish... once in a while he'll start singing a song
