The purpose of Magnolia Cooperative Preschool is to further the education of parents in the principles of early childhood education and to provide a cooperative preschool experience for the children enrolled in the preschool. Parental participation in class and with the school is vital to the way we fulfill our purpose.

By joining our program you are taking an active role in your child's early education and your own development as a parent. Adult Co-Op members are registered with the college to earn parent education credits. Members become actual students, learning about early childhood development during their time spent in the classroom, as well as during monthly parent education sessions led by our amazing Parent Educators.
Services
Magnolia Cooperative Preschool offers a range of classes for Toddlers through Pre-K. Classes include a combination of circle time, free choice time, music, snack, and outdoor time on our secure, private playground. Older classes (3 and up) also have the opportunity to take several off-site field trips throughout the year.
First Month's Tuition - due by the 10th of the month starting class; pro-rated if starting after the 10th day of the month. Registration Fee - $100 per child + $50 per sibling, due at registration and non-refundable. Parent Education Advisor Fee (PEAF)* - $260 per family; due in May of the year prior to the Fall start date.
The MAC provides drop-off childcare for children of Co-op members, children enrolled in regular preschool classes, as well as siblings of children attending regular preschool classes. The MAC provides a safe, reliable, affordable and fun place for siblings to play while you are attending class with your child.
The Co-Op model is a really special and different experience than your average drop-off preschool. It provides for convenience, offers a high quality experience, and is inclusive of parents creating an affordable program to guide children during some of their most important years. Parent education is a key aspect of the Co-Op model.
Participation in the Co-Op involves time and commitment to help classes and the school run smoothly. By joining our program you are taking an active role in your child's early education. A parent or regular caregiver will work one day a week in class, joining the child and acting as a teacher's assistant.

We are so happy we found this school through a family member who highly recommended it to us. The teachers and staff are endlessly patience, kind, giving, and kid-savvy. Our first child is in her second year and loves going to preschool more than anything. Sending our second will be a no-brainer! Come take a tour, come to an event, and talk to the staff and parents and see if it's a fit for your family!

I have two children currently enrolled in the Co-Op age 2 and age 4. The school has a play based approach and requires parental involvement in one class a week. The number of days kids attend is based on age. The classrooms are well equipped and the teachers are focused and involved with each child. Each day several activity stations are set up that concentrate on a different development area, fine motor, gross motor, spacial, etc. They change each time you go to class.
As the kids get older they participate in a sit down snack time which develops their social behaviors. There is outdoor time
