Jeet Kune Do: is the core of our martial arts philosophy that we teach in Tucson and is the scientific art of street fighting developed by Bruce Lee. Lee developed a way of self defense to end a fight that was simple, direct, and economical. Our goal in JKD is to help the average person develop skills to: Win and survive a real, no-rules street fight.
Rapid Assault Tactics (R.A.T.) is a self- defense system developed by Paul Vunak at the request of United States Navy and is the central aspect of his approach to the martial arts, known as Progressive Fighting Systems. This very efficient technology is one example of why military special forces from Israel, Russia and Germany try to emulate the most skilled fighters in the world, the U.S. Special Forces.
I offer private and semi-private lessons in my private studio or in your home or office at your convenience. Training experts have always considered private lessons the superior and most efficient way to learn real life self defense as opposed to large group classes that offer less personal attention.

Absolute Defense Solutions focuses on practical martial arts techniques which one can learn and use in real life threatening situations. These martial arts techniques are from Jeet Kune Do lineage created by Bruce Lee. I have tried other forms of martial arts. However, when I knew I was needing to study something I could remember without the artistic side such as forms and what would keep me safe, I chose Absolute Defense Solutions. Absolute Defense Solutions and by extension, head instructor Kirby Tucker, give the most simplistic yet comprehensive look at REALITY BASED self defense. He is a true martial artist who - not only talks the talk but walks the walk and fully embraces the ideals and philosophies that Bruce Lee laid out years ago. Everything from stick/knife fighting (Kali), to empty hands is covered. He works on and individual basis and asseses what your strength's and weaknesses are. This is NOT a martial arts dojo where you practice set patterns, this is a labratory in which we experiment and get as close to reality

Kirby Tucker is a consummate professional . His training methods are examples of effectiveness . His 35 + years in the field are clearly evident in his performance and instruction. He wants you to be able to protect yourself. This is not a martial arts mill, after every class you will have developed a new or improved combative skill set. When things get bad you'll want to know this.
